The Envy monitor exceeds my expectations, providing crystal clear images and excellent sound. The software installation was simple and the connections to the computer we also simple. I would recommend this monitor to anyone, but especially when working to reduce eyestrain or compare multiple documents side by side.

Monitor is great. Lets me see more of my documents when working with them. Took a little while to get used to size since I upgraded from a 19 inch monitor.

Have wanted a big monitor - but with terrific audio. This is the one..... 32 inch screen is great for my accounting practice, especially when I need to show clients data. They don;t have to sit on my lap to see the screen...Ha !

For all the hype, this computer has been a disappointment. I've had to return it to Best Buy because of a major hardware problem - the screen flickers so much that I cannot operate it at all. If given a chance I would like buy this again for the price I paid....

Pros: * very even back lighting & really excellent contrast * colors look natural * can do double duty as a "TV" in a smaller room * speakers are good for vocal reproduction (podcasts, calls, tv, etc) * I would purchase this again based on the value and my use case Cons: * speakers are lacking in bass and lower mid range and are insufficient for music. * I think the matte coating may be a little heavy handed and appears to limit viewing angle. (It could just be the LCD technology though) * HDMI Audio falls asleep in Linux which means you don;t hear short intermittent sounds such as notifications. * Periodic flickering on HDMI and display port when connected to a known-to-be-working Radeon R9 series card. (possibly due to freesync problems as this went away when I switched to a pascal NVIDIA card) * Fonts could be smoother Other: * my monitor came with the B&O speaker tuning disabled. I recommend checking in the menu to make sure its enabled. * I purchased this as a certified manufacturer refurbished product from a third party and contacted HP in order to verify the length of warranty but never got a response.

Killer display, I got it and my wife stole it. The only problem isn't really a problem unless you want the best of everything. I thought the audio while better than average, isn't as good as I would prefer. I had used Bose speakers before, while they aren't that good, they are good enough and you miss that clutter from your desk. The monitor is VERY large and very bright, most people would find that they only need one.. so the issue I thought I would have (having the speaker overhang the side so you can't do side by side, isn't really an issue as most people wouldn't have a desk large enough to accommodate both anyway, and would probably get whiplash moving their head back and forth from extreme angles to viev both of them. Seriously.. it's an awesome price for something well worth the money.

Had this monitor for a few months now, allowed me to get the speakers off my desk and the amount of display area while somewhat overwhelming at first soon becomes quite comfortable once settings are dialed in. Much better than split screen. B&O speakers do sound a bit thin but have improved a bit with age, although it would have been nice if monitor had some built-in bass/treble controls but after all still monitor speakers. Monitor setup with no issues, I drive it from my desktop thru DP(using both Linux and Win10 thru Nvidia card) and from my work laptop thru HDMI. Also have an OTA tuner that occasionally gets used from the second HDMI input. If switching between sources DP sometimes takes a bit to get recognized as the active input, but otherwise OK.

Everything about the screen is great, resolution, brightness, contrast. The speakers are terrible though, absolutely no bass, equivalent to what you get out of an ipad. I tried calling tech support about it, found out HP's tech support is worthless. So, if you have alternative speakers and won't use the integrated ones and you don't ever need to call tech support, you'll probably love it.

After returning 3 new monitors and 3new computers Monitor only works with you use it with and old computer will not work it you purchased an new computer and added this monitor with it. I returned 3 of this monitors back and 3 computers with the same results does not work with new computers. They screwed up the settings when they built this monitor never tested it with a new computer Native setting are not set right. Customer service has no clue what the problem was. After the third monitor they had a tech come out to see what was wrong after 2 hours we finally figured out. the native settings has to be set to High Def and are set at regular settings at the factory when they built it. The monitor does not come on. monitor only works with an old computer. Tech customer service has no CLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This monitor has great color and detail The added B&O speakers are a bonus. This replaces a $1,500 30" monitor from the big competitor "D" which failed shortly after warranty expiration, and they offered no after warranty help . I decided to buy this because I was disappointed with the major competitor's lack of help. This has better detail and color quality, and as a bonus 1/3 the price!!

The B&O audio does not work! The built in speakers are thin and weak sounding. My HP desk top has B&O audio, that does not work! The monitor is fine, the picture is good but I bought it because it had, according to HP, B&O audio.

I was really looking for a touch screen display but I must admit that this screen was a great value for my dollar. IF you have the hp Envy with B&O technology it is a great match. My previous 21 inch display was aging at 8 years old but this 32" wide angle is not only beautiful but I feel like its healthier for my eyes. The whites are brighter and the text is very clear, seeing is believing! As for the touch screen, I decided to pair this monitor with the HP leap technology keyboard. The virtual technology along with various apps allow you to apply the motions of touch actions without actually touching the screen, it will take some time to get use to but, I am all for the next big thing.
