Spend more and get Brotherly printer

Just randomly stopped working. Printer is barely used, I printed a couple copies on month and the next month I went to print and its not working. It keeps telling me to load papers when they're already loaded and when it does register that paper is there is won't feed the paper through, just says printer jammed. It makes no sense how it would just stop working. Very frustrating.

bad technology

Doesn't communicate with my computer, no matter how many times I reinstall the driver. Doesn't know there's paper when there is paper. I had no such problems with my old printer until it died. It's an idiot.

Refuses to print in color

I opted into the HP Instant Ink service and the way they make sure you don't actually use the cartridges is by selling printers that refuse to print in color. I have uninstalled and re-installed the printer drivers countless times and sometimes that works and you can print in color (after the 20 minute uninstall and reinstall process), and other times, it just doesn't. I hate this unreliable printer.

Decent printer, garbage software

I use this printer for occasional printing and scanning. If I don't use this printer / scanner for more than a month, it will just not work right. I have to go through the whole rigamorole or uninstalling my drivers and reinstalling them back a million times before it prints/ scans the one freaking document it needs me to scan. If I measure my time waster in dollars it'd be easier to go to a store and get my stuff printed/ scanned. Very frustrating!

Doesn?t Deserve One Star

Worst printer I have ever owned, seen or been associated with in any way. How so? Let me count the ways - 1. HP app can?t find it. That?s right. Printer is turned on - my iPad is connected to the same wi-fi, but the printer is ?unavailable?. Well no, it isn?t. It?s sitting right there like a big ole dumb rock (actually I would rather have a rock). 2. Troubleshooting says ?power it down?. The only problem - then it doesn?t want to power up. Just sits there - like a big ole dumb rock (did I mention I would rather have a rock?) 3. Next problem is it doesn?t do anything for my yard as an ornament after I threw it out the window (you guessed it - it just sits there like a big ole dumb rock)

Prints in color once, then you have to reinstall

Complete garbage with known bugs that HP refuses to support. you can print in color approximately once per driver install before the printer won't print color.

Worst printer I have ever used!!!

If I could give it less than a 1 star, I would. Have had it for about 2-3 years now and constantly have issues with it. First I could never wirelessly scan something. Would NEVER work no matter what I did, I had to buy a cable to plug it in to actually scan. Now I can't print because everything is just blank. Have replaced both cartridge and still nothing. One of the worst I have ever used!!! Just want a printer that would actually function properly. Never buying an HP printer again!!!!!!

Absolute garbage.

Cannot believe I wasted my money on this printer. Constantly needs updates and randomly disconnects from the network. Requires an HP account to scan. I'm not sure if that is all HP products, but there is no way in hell HP needs my personal information to be able to use all of the features of this printer. I will NOT be purchasing another HP product if that's the case. DO NOT buy this hunk of garbage. I will be taking this printer into a field and giving it the loving Office Space treatment it deserves.

Ink cartridges/printer

HP Ink cartridges are the worst on the market. After 20% of the ink is used they begin to malfunction making the printer useless. Even if you don't use the printer for awhile they malfunction (even when almost full), and must be replaced with a new cartridge. Absolute garbage!

Worst printer ever!

Do not buy this product. I had issues right out of the box. At one time or another this printer would not turn on, turn off, print, scan, connect to blue tooth or connect to the computer. Does make a descent boat anchor.

Mr

Had Product for quite awhile I would give it 5 stars except for double sided printing. It screws up quite often and if you are on the instant ink program it costs because you still get charged per screwed up sheets

Do not buy!

This is the absolute WORST printer we have ever had. We just got this one for the wireless features and our previous printer was getting very old (hp photosmart plus). We loved our photosmart plus, the wifi never worked but that was okay. This printer has issues at every turn. It takes a painful amount of time to print each page, the printer doesn't even stay awake properly to print using the wifi feature or just print at any moment, we first have to unplug and plug the printer back in to wake it back up, and the simplicity of loading paper in the back of the printer is even a frustrating task. I truly beg anyone looking at this for at home or small business use to NOT PURCHASE. My husband and I get in a bad mood each time we have to use the printer. We avoid printing because it is that frustrating. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Basic ok printer, but not all features work.

This printer prints ok, scans on flatbed ok, but serious problems with feeder tray scanning: random pages turn out blank (black in scan file) and often pages blurred, or ghosting. My old HP all in one was great for years until feeder tray scanning started to go wrong, that's why i bought this one, but it does the same thing new. HP quality seems to be getting lower. Was my fav printer company but each one gets worse than the one before. Can't return it or I would. Trying to get help from HP was not helpful, took forever and they didn't offer any actual help, in fact seemed not to understand the problem, despite describing it several times in great detail.

Horrible Piece of Garbage

This printer has been nothing but a struggle to use from day one. Why can't one of the top rated technology companies in the world make a product that does what it's supposed to? Customers expect a streamlined user experience and they expect their purchases to work without the help of a PhD in Computer Science.

SUCKS

I got this printer for college in 2018 and it worked very well up until October 30th, 2020. I went to print something out and it was giving me errors such as "Inkjet9.driver" will damage your computer and much more. I called c*st*m*r s*rv*ce and they wanted to charge me for help over the phone since my warranty is out of date. Once I finally got help after 20+ calls later my computer still doesn't connect to my Macbook pro. All in all, not a great printer maybe wait till app*e makes one.
