Most of the time when I want to scan something, this printer cannot be found on my wifi. It constantly loses its connection and I have to use their nearly useless "Print and Scan Doctor" to fix it, which involves restarting the printer and computer. I will never, ever, ever buy an HP product again. Avoid this like the plague!

This proved to be a great super fast printer for just over a year. Now it won't print in black any more and I can't find anyone who can fix it. All I can do is throw it away. Very sad

I have just started using this printer in my small business office for tax season and it has worked flawlessly. It is very fast and the ink cartridges last a long time. The average size of a tax return that I print is 75 pages. The only thing a little annoying is that it will sound like it is getting ready to print at random times when I have not sent a job to it!

This printer is great... when it wants to work. Our printer will consistantly not connect. In order to print anything you have to turn off the printer and then turn it back on and even then it may not decide to connect and allow you to print. Big hassle to try to use.

This multi function machine works great. Easy set-up and does everything you need. However it may be cheaper to scrap it out once the ink is depleted and buy a new one. Five hundred for the printer WITH ink, Three Hundred twenty to replace all 4 cartridges. Absolutely unacceptable.

Love the features on this printer and the quickness of the output. Only downfall is the fact that it is better to use the color lok paper instead of the readily available copy paper at my site.

Have been trying for hours to get Email set up on this printer. No matter what setting I use for SMTP, it keeps trying to use TLS. The help says unchecked the TLS box which isn't checked to start with. I have searched the support site. Upgraded firmware to latest available and performed a factory reset after the upgrade just because. It still tries to use TLS which my mail server isn't configured to support.

Highly recommend the Hp Officejet Pro X476dw. I consider it the best printer HP makes. Excellent quality and speed and the XL ink cartridge if very cost effective. Wish their models allow the 11x17 format.

I bought this a few weeks ago & love it. As much printing as we do it will save me about $300.00 a month in toner. I would recommend this highly to anyone wanting to save money. I bought it online & the staff was very friendly & helpful.

Purchased this printer for our business. Easy to set-up and connect to network. Really like the graphic color output on color product labels we use! Impressed with speed and color. I like that additional trays can be added. Except for the sticker shock for the ink, I am hopeful the number of copies per cartridge and efficiency holds true. But what I have produced so far, am quite happy with. No paper jams or smeared ink, so smooth sailing thus far!

Works as stated and very good quality. Fast, starts printing right away, with no pause. When setting up, very easy to hit wrong answer when going through the setup phase. I ended up getting Disney kid pictures every week and couldn't stop it till I called a tech and was given an WEB address where I could adjust those settings. It wasn't easy to find on my own. But the machine is great.

The X476dw is the second Pro X printer I have purchased for my business (the first being the X451dw) so you could say I like the product line. I have replaced laser printers and I am very happy with the speed and print quality, as well as the huge savings of ink over toner cartridges. As HP claims, it really is half the cost. The X476 is a super fast printer, like the X451dw, but includes fax, scanning, and copying. I don't use it as a fax as we have a dedicated fax, but the scanning and copying functions are excellent and very fast as well. This printer is shared wirelessly in an office with 7 other users and it performs flawlessly. Strongly recommended.

I bought this product for the church office. The administrative assistant says she wants to marry it. It printed certificates, which was the reason they needed another printer, quickly and beautifully. Every time I see her, practically, she tells me how much she loves it.

Several months ago my printer suddenly quit. Desperate for a new one, I ordered this one on line. Thank heavens it arrived the very next morning! It was easy to set up and install and in no time was up and running. I have been exceedingly pleased with it. It performs every function flawlessly. Thank you, HP.

This printer was marketed as good as a laser. Plus it has fast output and good wifi connection capabilities so I was sold! Sadly after two machines (the first I was told might have been a dudd so I returned it for another) I have come to the conclusion that this printer is definitely not as good as a laser.. and doesn't come close when printing text in/on colored images, printing on envelopes or general sharpness of graphics lines etc. It is pretty good on bw text alone but I recommend getting the appropriate paper for that. It is, however, very fast; and connected seamlessly via wifi to my mac and iPhone5. I now have an hp laser color mfp and love it!

I spent nearly 3 days trying to just setup the wireless to connect to our Enterprise wireless connection and has no success. Called the Help Support and got routed to a tech who was unable to help me. I guess the next step is to try to connect directly to the network and try again. But I got to say the setting "Server ID" which required for enterprise wireless set up puzzle me abit and I have try using the wireless router/ as well the gateway with no luck.

We have had this printer for 6 months now and just purchased a second one. It is simple to use and the ink last a long time. While it cost more upfront than inkjet models, that is offset by the very low cost per page to print using this technology.

I have this printer on our network, and the speed and performance are the best that I've seen in an inkjet. It is even faster than my old LaserJet. It holds a full ream of paper, which is a big plus. It worked well with PC.... HOWEVER it is not that Mac friendly. With PC, you are able to fax from PC using printer SpeedDial, but with Mac, you cannot access speed dial from computer, only off of printer. It does give you the choice of using your Mac Contacts folder, but it adds the dashes in phone numbers (1-800-555-1212) thereby rendering the option useless, since printer cannot recognize and misdials every time. There is no way to strip dashes from Contacts numbers, so speed faxing from Mac computer does not work. The only way faxing from Mac computer works is if you manually type in the fax number, which is not that efficient considering you now have to remember all your contacts fax numbers. Hopefully HP will fix, because otherwise this is an awesome printer.

I had an Officepro 8500 that had all the office functionality needed and unfortunately it failed under warranty. I was provided an 8600 as its replacement, unfortunately its office functionality was dramatically less than the 8500. So I purchased the x476dw based upon the product description it appeared to have the office functionality I needed. However, the ADF does not support mixed mode duplex scanning as the 8500 did, therefore it has similar lackluster office functionality as the 8600 at a steep price. Granted, it is a much more capable and seperior quality unit than the 8600 however, its not just speed and duribility that small offices need, its the basic time saving functionality that is needed routinely. I am very disappointed with HP and their reduction in functionality to manage warranty cost at the expense of their customers.

I just purchased this printer but so far it is everything you could ever want. The setup is so easy you can just about close your eyes. I can only say good things about this printer so far since I've only had it a short time
