I bought this printer thinking I would get a quality printer. What a joke!!! The thing drinks ink like an alcoholic, jams paper and takes forever to start a print request. It is continually doing something called maintenance (but what it is maintaining is unknown). I have two computer (we have 5 iMacs plus 2 iPhones) that we cannot get the them to connect to the printer (I have tried everything I can think of including having Apple remotely connect and they can't find anything wrong with the computers). If you are smart you will stay away from any of the 80xx series printers. We had an HP ENVY before and it worked perfect for almost 7 years. DO NOT BUT THIS PRINTER!!!!!

I purchased this printer because I had previous positive experiences with the officejet pro line of printers and expected that I would have the same with this printer. Unfortunately that was not the case at all. A few good points first: Easy setup, compact design and good quality prints. Everything else though is not up to par. Firstly the plastics are even less substantial than in previous models, and as such I feel that I need to be particularly careful when handling the printer. Secondly the HP instant ink program is an absolute ripoff, and not at all adequately explained in the included literature. This program means that you have to pay monthly to use your own printer, that you already purchased at full retail, and even then you only have a limited number of pages per month that you can print without gathering overage charges. In the end it costs way more than just buying new cartridges when yours are empty. Thirdly the required software to operate the printer is massive bloatware at best, and malware at worst as it often negatively impacts the performance of my machine. And Lastly, after minimal use over a roughly two year period the printer has completely packed-up, and HP doesn't even recognize the error code that it is throwing. Simply one of my worst purchases ever.

Got the new printer all set up and printed approx 200 pages over the first 30 days and I'm out of Yellow and all cartridges are low. Granted the initial cartridges are small. HP showed a ship dated for replacement ink, but it didn't show up for 30 days from generating the order. So I'm out of ink for a week. Then I get the replacement cartridges and print about 125 pages and I'm out of yellow again... In between all of this the printer goes offline at the drop of a hat. I've had to restart the printer on several occasions to get it to print. Not so impressed with this printer, I'm a huge HP fan. This is my 4th HP printer to compare against other HP's. Now I check the printer in HP store were I bought it and I see that it's been discontinued. I looked for that before made my purchase, because I did not want to buy something that's is being discontinued. How wonderful, I bought the extra 3year warranty too. Overall If I could return it I probably would.

I purchased this printer to create award certificates, bulletins and print photos. The certificates on stock card paper print perfect in black. Everything in color prints with lines and gaps. I have clean the heads, changed in cartridges, etc to no avail. This printer sucks up ink and produces a poor quality product!

I bought this a couple weeks ago. I’m always happy with my HP products. This is the first time I’ve purchased one online for myself and I got off to a rocky start. I first ordered one, not realizing it only printed in black, no color. I needed color. They graciously took it back and the second one I ordered was a manual double side print. I print too much to have to be there to turn the paper. Customer service was great and again they graciously let me return it and on the third try, I was successful! I’m very happy with customer service and I know I will have years of service from this printer. Thank you HP for helping me finally get it right.

HP printers have always been a dependable product for me over 20 years. I just thought it was time to purchase an updated printer. I sure got an excellent Office Jet Pro 8035 all-in-one printer. The tech service is the best of any service I've had with any PC products. Thanks.

Prints are very clear. Prints fast and without much noise when printing. The display is easy to read and directions on it are easy to follow.

I do NOT like this new printer. It looks cheap and has far more plastic than my last one. It is disgusting that the time always shows 5 hours later than it really is here in Kansas. I asked how to change the time on the printer and could find no response giving me directions. The paper tray does not hold as much paper, nothing to keep it stacked neatly and pushed against the front, AND when you print like 8 pages at one printing, unless you are there to pick each page up as it is printed, the angled stopper does not keep the pages coralled and you wind up with pages flowing to the floor. Needless to say, I wish this purchase had not existed.

I like a lot of the features on this printer. I really like the color home screen on the device itself. It was easy to install and relatively easy to use. It prints pretty quickly. It does, however, sometimes go offline just like my older HP printer does. For this one, I just have to power it off then back on and it goes back online but I can't really understand why this happens at all.

As a Realtor this printer fits my needs. Fast printing and easy scanning documents ! After being skeptical of the instant ink program I signed up for it and have 10 months of free ink; my first ink cartridge shipment just arrived with larger ink capacity than normal larger capacity cartridges. So I saved buying $140 worth of cartridges.

Just got this printer 2 days ago. Online setup was problem free even after I realize I still had my HP 3410 connected by USB and yanked the plug out of the power strip. I was expecting a crash of some kind. To my amazement, the setup software continued without a fault. I had wireless connection problems for nearly 4 months. No one could figure out why all of a sudden my 3410 wouldn't communicate with my computer.and visa versa. Geek Squad spent 5 hours with me online and finally gave up. ATT couldn't figure it out either. They sent a new modem and it still didn't work. Since that model was considered obsolete, I bit the bullet and upgraded to this model and was elated with this printer's performance and features one of which is FAX. ( Do people still FAX documents?? ) Delivery was right on time and the package arrived unscathed. FEDEX took real good care of it.
