Not compatible
Called to order and Rep told me it was compatible with my HP laptop 14’ model 14-DK0002DX, however it was not. No issue with the product overall but you may want to somehow confirm with someone other than a HP rep that it works on your device

Wored as promised
Right product for application, always a challenge when you are taking ild tech ( A 12 year old Samsung Monitor to a newer Laptop ( Spectre) My only wish is that less paper work would be included.

No screw holes to fasten VGA tightly
This product has a sleek design and it works, but I worried about the connection on the VGA side. There are no holes to screw down the VGA cable to this product, so I returned it. I'm using an Apple adaptor product instead. It was more expensive, but I have no concerns about losing my second display's connection.

great expectations
The device was very well packed for shipment, and in a snug cozy well designed box. It looked well manufactured and of pleasing visage. I can't wait for the lap top to come so I can see if it works.

Deeply Frustrating
Bought this for my newly acquired HP Notebook 14s-dq1004ni with Windows 10 Home 64 OS and a 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor. Error: "display connection might be limited", and the laptop doesn't see the external display at all.

Works Great
I bought this adapter so I could use a monitor with my 13" Spectre 360 when needed. It is easy to use and works great.

Necessity for 2 monitors
The adapter arrived as promised. I needed it the same day however, so I had to run and buy an adapter of less quality to to function with.

Waste of money and time
Was told this would allow me to use a VGA monitor as a second monitor. It didn't work. Told I needed to purchase the drivers, but it may still not work. Sent it back.

I was used to using a docking station, but this is way easier to just have the adapter.

Would be nice if it worked....
I included this with the purchase because I have an HP 2111xx Monitor to function with the notebook in a dual mode. Worked great with the previous notebook. This adapter didn't see the monitor at all... I purchased a HDMI to VGA Display Adapter form Office Max... Now I can see the Monitor but the display doesn't work....

Doesn't work with new Mac Book Pro
Just bought this and really bummed to see it doesn't work with Mac Book Pro although compatible systems are not mentioned on the box. Anyone knows any solutions for this?

Product does not work!
Purchased when I ordered a new ENVY 17t laptop and monitor. Spent the weekend loading software and transferring files from old HP laptop. Went to hook up VGA monitor and got and endless loop notice saying it would not work. Went to HP website NO SUPPORT for this item! $50 for something that does not work.
