Great machine

I have had my printer for a very long time, love it, never had any problems with it, even if I was printing every day or gone months before printing anything. Beautiful pictures great print. Love this machine

Worst printer

I will never buy an hp printer again. This printer waists a lot of ink so it is very expensive. The eprint feature never worked. It never was able to connect to Hp web services. I complained to HP and they were never able to correct any issues. Stick with cannon or brother's printers.

I LOVE this printer, & am SO bummed it's gone!

This is THE best printer for home -- docs & photos -- I've ever had! Mine is now on its last leg, & I can't find one that's comparable. The 7520 had a separate tray for photo paper, which makes it so easy to print them -- don't have to remove the regular paper first. I have LOVED HP products for years -- my Pavillion Elite HPE desktop computer, my HP laptop, & this printer that I'm about to lose -- but I do NOT love the HP company. Too hard to get in touch with someone for support, & the website is not user-friendly. Might be time to change over to Canon or Epson!

I've owned HP computers and printers forever but no more. The support isn't there from HP, this printer constantly loses its wireless connection, you cant align and clean the cartridges without using up all your ink, it cant tell the difference between a HP cartridge and a aftermarket cartridge and its an ink hog long story short.

It doesn't recognize genuine HP Ink Cartridges

I bought this new a long time ago. Since then, it has never worked properly. It promises a lot, but it absolutely does not live up to those promises. I am tired of HP's garbage computers and accessories. I purchased and installed genuine HP ink cartridges that are the correct ink cartridge model for this printer, but they don't work in the printer? There are 5 ink cartridges total. Five out of the five ink cartridges have the proper ink cartridges installed, yet the printer won't print. It won't print even though it is full of the ink it needs!!! Also, if one of the five ink cartridges doesn't work, then the printer won't print even if all of the other ink cartridges are full... ? Furthermore, the printer won't print at all if you load and store camera and letter paper in it as it was designed to do. Zero stars.

Great Features

I bought this printer at Cosco Aug 2014 and I love it. Sorry to say I recently dropped it causing the scanner and copier to stop working. I would love to find another one like it. The Photos come out beautiful and I love all the functions. I pd $150 and would certainly buy again at that price. Even a refurburished. I bought the HP Officejet 5200 for scanning only and I hate this machine. Extremely Slow, poor quality copies, ink cartridges empty quickly, and extreme bad quality pictures. I would write a review about the 5200 but I can't find a place on your site. Bring back the PhotoSmart 7525 PLEASE!

Excellent Printer

I would not give up this printer for almost anything. Wonderful print outs, copy, scan. 1 thing I would recommend would be to use only HP ink. Nothing to do with printer, but other ink tends to bleed.

Terrible Printer Head-Expensive to keep in ink

I've had this printer for a few years. Initially it was nice and did all of the functions as it should. In short order I started having problems with it always being out of ink (5 cartridges), flaky printing etc. I can't tell you how many times I've replaced the cartridges when they weren't empty because it says they are. It constantly stops printing properly because it says it is out, or low, on ink when it isn't. I resorted to pulling the cartridge tray out every 3 months and thoroughly washing it because it was the only thing that would "clean" it and let it print normally....for a short while. Tried to use it 2 days ago to print some dcuments - I had used it less than 2 weeks prior; would not print the document clearly. New cartridges, used less than 2 weeks prior. The printer status showed all colors either empty or almost. Cleaned the cartridges 11 (ELEVEN) times and almost had the colors and the fill level accurate....after wasting most of the ink in them. WASTED time and money. My new HP came in today that uses only 2 cartridges (like my one at my vacation home) and I anticipate far better performance. My recommendation would be to stay far away from this if you want it as a printer. Fax, scan, wireless, copy all work fine....except for the print function that will not function reliably due to the cartridges/tray design.

HP Photosmart 7520 great. Support, well...

The HP Photosmart 7520 was the best printer I've ever owned. Trust me when I say I've owned many. I purchased this device in 2012. Using this printer was a dream. Photos, and text rendering were fantastic! Graphics were OK. My problem is with the support. Using the HP Support sites to resolve problems noted as indeed a problem by the numbers effected doesn't seem to prompt HP to take a position of openess. Granted, some problems are resolved in simplistic, step by step, cleaning or replacment of inks, but sometimes a problem is so overwhelming, and is NOT resolved by the simple steps given, where it points to something common throughout the model. To resolve a simple issue of the black ink not printing cost me replacement costs of two (2) full sets of ink cartridges, and a printhead. The third set I purchased were XL cartridges because using the troubleshooting guidelines at HP Support resulted in literal bleeding of the ink cartridges. The time... well... I lost a great product simply because the HP cannot specifically state why these printers suddenly do not print from the black ink cartridge. Something isn't right here. I dare say this specific model of the HP printer line was superb. It certainly deserves a better support than something written off as just another cheap printer. Cheap? It was not.

Expensive Piece of Trash

I have had nothing but issues with this since the day it came out of the box. Brand new, authentic cartridges from big box stores including Target, Costco, & OfficeMax (no way they're "counterfeit") come up with errors of low ink and counterfeit warnings. HP can't even troubleshoot the problem. Everything I've printed since the first time have had ugly streaks. The photo cartridge prints exactly 5 photos before it's out of ink too. Don't be deceived! This printer takes 5 cartridges that cost over $150 total and last days.

Has been a great all around.

I originally had a 7520; then bought the 7525, the 7520 just went out after maybe 5 or 6 years. I?m looking for another one.

Horrible quality--disappointed in HP

I've had to have this printer replaced 2 times meaning I'm on my 3rd printer since the original purchase. When PC goes in to hibernation mode, the printer loses connection and has to be restarted to regain connection to PC. Print quality is harsh and unable to be softened or changed at all regardless of software used. Cannot print photos on 8.5 x 11 photo paper as photos can only use the photo tray which accommodates up to 5x7--therefore canNOT print a draft on plain paper even card stock (so much for printing own cards using an uploaded pic). Used to LOVE HP and now after my 3 prior owned HP laptops became junk because it wouldn't operate correctly with windows (and overheated WAYYY too fast), now I can't find an HP Printer that works the way HP should and used to work; I will no longer purchase HP anything with MY money. When this printer dies, I will look to Brother. NOW, the HP Store doesn't even recognize it's own product; be it discontinued or not.

Great Photo Printer, Scanner and Fax Mac

My HP C410a finally bit the dust a few weeks ago. It's difficult finding a printer that is multi function. Most of them are not Photo printers. This machine out performs the other HP machines I have owned by a lot. It scan twice as fast. The pictures are spectacular. To top it off, the cartridges that come with it don't appear to be starteds. they actually have ink in them.

It's a lot better than the reviews

There were some awful reviews. But I took a chance because I've had HP printers before and because many of the negative reviews sounded like user errors. Short version: the setup and wireless install went flawlessly, and the printer works exceptionally well - both from networked pc's and from iPhone and android phone. The only negative I'll give is that there is no obvious guidance given for that second pc. The install and setup on the first pc was so automated that I assumed I'd do the same process on the second pc; but it's not. It's very simple, but someone unfamiliar with windows device manager might have a problem. Overall: I recommend this printer.

Worst HP printer I have ever owned

This machine gobbles up ink so fast I can't believe it. When I try to save ink by printing in draft mode, the quality is lousy. Characters are crooked and out of line. The print cartridges are difficult to open. Also, the machine has a flimsy feel to it.

I love this printer. Does everything!

Best printer I ever had. Easy to use. Excellent quality. Photo printing is very good. The price was excellent since I bought it when it had an instant rebate. And I received it 2 days after placing the order! After using I found that some drivers were limited, but a very helpful and knowledgeable tech support person was able to download what I wanted. I now say that I am completely satisfied. My experience with the quality and performance of the printer and the excellent technical support justifies my practice of only buying HP computers and printers!

Meets & exceeds all my expectations

This printer is my 3rd colorsmart but the most fully featured one. I'm totally pleased with it. I want to make a comment about the XL black (not photo) ink cartridge. This printer uses the same ink cartridges as my last two and a reason why I selected it. But my first one used a cartridge that was at least twice as large. I w3ish it was still available.

Fast and Furious

I just moved to a small condo and was without a fax, copier, printer. I had to go into town and ended up paying $5 to have a one page fax sent. Being we had just bought this condo, had not purchased another printer. I knew it was going to be an HP, as that is all I've used in past years.

The product may be missing a part.

The document glass is too large for even the width of 81/2 x 11 inch paper making any preview virtually useless. The printer was ,either, poorly made or a part is missing. The other features set up for specific measurement function, but without the preview capability. This is not the quality of product that I've come to expect from HP.

Horrible

I had a HP Photosmart Premium C310 which made me want to drive into a brick wall. Then, I got this one. The touchscreen was slightly quicker. Now, the negatives - everything else. I just spent an hour making a simple document print-out. Turns out, this printer, that advertises as a wireless printer can't work with wireless internet. After trying 3 different PC/Mac's (both), and the SD-card slot, I had to search for a USB-cable. Then, after a lot of problemshooting leading nowhere, a prayer to God woke up this deadbeat hunk of junk. I will never buy HP printers again.

A near perfect all in one printer

I like to print my own photos. I also like the concept of an all in one printer. The HP 7520e represents my conclusion to a search to find a great all in one printer that will be hassle free on a day to day bases, be simple to use, easily connect to my home wireless system and still deliver above average photo printing. In the past I judged an "all in one" printer the same way I judged photo specific printers. First and foremost would be photo print quality. I've owned two "all in one" printe...

The Best One Yet

I did substantial research on a lot of different printers/brands, and I came back to what was the best of them all. This HP 7520 printer has it all. It is built solid, and unlike what others may have said, this printer is not a ink hog. The wireless feature works flawless, along with its apps, and it does just what it describes it can do. Sometimes with other printers you will not get all features to perform as promised, but with this printer I'm totally convinced that HP took some time to ma...
