I bought the printer and the color ink works well, printer connects to WiFi, etc. Black ink stopped printing and I've done all the recommended cleanings. Looking on google shows this is a common problem with this printer. I hope the upgraded models work better. Don't buy this one - used or otherwise - because the black ink doesn't work on a lot of people's.

After many years of great performance my 5510 went out on me. Too bad i just stocked up on ink but for the low price I paid all those years back this was worth every penny. Now to search for another -high expectations set now!

This product has more features than I realized and I am enjoying them all. The instructions on the front of the printer made it easy for me to set it up. Since I am not too computer or prin ter wise, this was a very good feature.

I needed an option for printing from both Windows and Mac computers as well as mobile devices. This printer works great for the small amount of printing I do. Set up was quick and easy and all devices could print within minutes. The deal was sealed by the fantastic price I got online. The printer was reduced from $99 to $69 and with a coupon I purchased for $59. That's cheaper than buying new ink for my old printer which didn't have scanning, WiFi or AirPrint. I don't know if this little printer could handle real big jobs or heavy use, but that's not the niche of a sub-$100 unit. We only print about once a week and this seems to be the perfect printer for that.

This is my second printer of this model. The first is the "d." It's easy to set up and place in operation. It performs well for my personal home needs and is very dependable. (that's why I bought a second one) Pricing is very reasonable and a big factor in making this purchase. Very comfortable and satisfied with HP products.

The ordering process was simple. The value for the price is incredibly good. The shipping time was amazing! Setup was easy including the software and hardware (installation of cartridges, wireless network connection, etc.). The features including scanning directly to a PC, making copies, automatic notification of ink levels, and printing are both simple and very high quality. This is just an all-around great, full-featured printer. The ePrint feature makes it an even more versatile printer. HP did an incredible job with this printer.

Haven't been able to use it as a wireless printer as I'm on a restricted WiFi network. I may be getting my own network with cable access to the Internet in ten near future and then will utilize the wireless features.

I personally recommend this printer all in one to anyone wanting a low cost efficient printer or scanner/copier. HP's shipping was very fast. I chose free shipping and it arrived in 2 days. It was well packaged and easy to unpack and set up. Everything went flawlessly. I had this up and running in 15 minutes. Aligning the print heads was easy. It printed out an alignment page that had me place it in the scanner and the unit did the rest without me having to choose between the best marks on the page for alignment. I really like the separate color cartridges. I only have to change the color I need. Another great feature is border-less printing! Scanning or copying is very easy to use and flawless as well. If you want a great all in one at a great price and affordable to run, choose this one!

Very pleased with the new printer. Had trouble connecting the wireless so I just uninstalled it and went back to it the next day and it sailed right through. Speedy printing which severly lacked in my privoous HP printer.

wireless does not work on all laptops in my house. and I have to replace black ink every week or so even if it says half full. you have to clean heads all the time to get it to work. which runs you out of ink faster as well . I will go back to cannon as this is a junk printer

Very disappointed with this printer. Continuous paper jams during the first week of use. After the second week, the paper does not even feed through to print. Followed trouble shooting information, but to no avail. Have to pay HP more to troubleshoot the problem than the cost of the printer. This is poor customer service. I would not recommend this printer to anyone, and have my doubts on all HP printers

I bought this printer about 3 months ago and had problems since the day i brought it home. I did like the wireless printing and when it DID print the quality was good. The issue is that I will print a document, it will print a couple pages then say "out of paper" even when it is full of paper. I literally cannot print anything without having to stand by the printer or get up 20 times to go readjust the paper and hit 'ok'. It is extremely frustrating! I cannot get a single thing printed quickly. It also jams up a lot. It takes three times as long to print anything than a normal printer. I have tried removing some paper, adding some, readjusting the paper. Nothing help. Overall, terrible. I would not reccomend this printer!

The printer is very nice and I do like that the ink is now packaged individually but I do think the photo software on the older models was far superior to the new HP photo software. The old software was on a user friendly console and I have had to download 2 additional programs with the new printer and still can't do the things I could with the photo software on my old C3100. The wireless printer works fine but the software will be an issue on future purchases.

I purchased this printer for my wife & I to use with our iPads. The Kodak printer I use for my home office does not offer AirPrint. Printed set-up instructions for iPad were lacking. However, just follow the steps on the printers screen and it walks you through it. Once I stopped looking for printed instructions and followed the screen everthing went smoothly. This printer uses so little power on stand-by I leave it on 24/7. I am finding myself using it for business stuff when I forget to turn on the Kodak,

I dont know what has given me more problems this printer or the laptop. Everytime it gets ready to print something it makes a lot of noise the ink cartridges move and it is louder than the TV. The mouse on the computer is all over the place for no reason. I don't know what is going on I have always like and used HP products. I am not happy with these tow products and I don't know what to do.

This is my second brand new Photosmart 5510 that does not function correctly. The first one I bought would not pick up the paper to feed into the mechanism. After calling HP tech support and going through all of the troubleshooting that I had already done twice before the call, HP sent me a new printer using "overnight shipping" (did not receive it in the mail until three days later). Upon opening and setting up the new printer I found that although this one would feed the paper, it wouldn't print black ink on the alignment page and could therefore not be aligned. Consequently, I highly disapprove of this printer and will not purchase an HP printer ever again.

Cons: **Very quirky with my laptop. I'm running Windows XP and if the computer goes into power save mode it loses wireless connection with the printer and doesn't reestablish the connection when I wake the computer. So far the only fix I've found is to disable the Power Save features of the laptop. **You cannot scan multiple pages into a single PDF file, each page is a separate file. (I also didn't realize how much I'd miss the automatic feed!) **This printer will not print MS Office docs or PDFs from the SD card, only files in picture format. This is an inconvenience for me and I'm hoping HP will come up with a firmware update to correct this. **No USB port, only an SD card slot. (can't print from a flash drive) **Print speed is a bit slower than our previous HP, it takes a while to process the document, once it actually starts printing it spits pages out reasonably quickly. Now in all fairness to the 5510 .... I didn't install the full blown version of HP's print software which has the ePrint functions, I installed the basic print/scan driver (The HP software from our previous HP was large and cumbersome, it hogged resources and slowed down my computer and I'm reluctant to try it again!) I would recommend this printer with reservations. I may learn to like it more as I learn more about it. But bottom line is if you need an inexpensive basic printer with wireless capability (especially with Apple devices!) this will get the job done for you

Needed a wireless printer for convenience, of course. This printer was fitting the bill. The operation is smooth and very simple to set up and operate. Been a Lexmark user most of my life, but glad I purchased this HP printer.
