After being a previous owner of an HP printer I'm really disappointed in this model. A couple of months shy of 2 years and the printer stopped printing out the black ink. I even used the more expensive "originnal HP ink cartridges". Yet the warranty is up and I have no recourse except to buy another printer, since taking it to be repaired would cost just as much.

My second consecutive HP photoprinter, and much happier with the first. Ink cartridges empty in no time and no way of knowing which one(s) may be empty; have to replace them all. Print quality leaves something to be desired. The problem is that the first couple of pages have to be reprinted if the printer has not been recently used, which for me is nearly every time. I do not recommend this printer. Oh, it was easy to set up.

Although this printer has some great features, the access and control from the front panel of some of the functionally is a little changeling.

This is a very good printer. The only issue I have is I use Google chrome and when I print a page in the print options I will select black printing and the page will print in color. I have to go into the printers properties and change to gray scale. I did not have to do this with my old printer. But I love the WIFI option and the printer was very easy to set up. The print quality is very good and using 4x6 or 5x7 paper is very easy. There is a separate tray for these sizes. Highly recommend this printer.

I ordered this on the EPP and got a great discount. It's exactly what I wanted where I can lift up the lid to scan or copy. The only thing that is a bit of a problem is that it also holds photo paper and the photo paper holder sometimes does not slide smoothly. Not a big deal you just have to pull out the paper holder and make sure the photo holder is pushed all the way back. Other than that it's tremendous.

I have tried the scan feature and I could not name my scanned item or add more pages to the document nor could I indicate what type of document it is (ie .jpg; .pdf; etc). This is very disappointing since this is the main reason I purchased the printer. The description did not adequately describe the items limitations.

This may have been the easiest printer I have ever set up. Appears to work flawlessly so far. Too early to tell about ink usage at this time.

This is a replacement for an older HP Photosmart printer that was starting to give up the ghost. I really like the Photosmart printers although if you do a lot of picture printing they go through the ink quickly. I like that this one is so much quieter and that it is a bit smaller (space wise). All in all this one is great. And it was easy to setup. Prints excellent!

I've been a dedicated hp printer user since I bought my first computer over 15 years ago, and continue to be impressed with the features and performance of the brand. This one was especially sweet since I snapped it up on a 50% off Sale.

This printer has all the feature I require. The little time we've had to play with it, printing, copying, scanning, and photo printing it will work well for our use. Don't know how it will do on ink yet. I was dissapointed though. I had ordered a new laptop from the HP Home Store as a xmas present for my wife. It was a Windows 8 version. In the process of odering the laptop they offered this printer on sale to go with it. The problem is the CD containing the printer driver and other software that came with the printer would not work on Windows 8, would only support version 7 and older. Shouldn't have had to spend the time digging around their web site to find the correct driver, I've got better things to do.

Great printer. Easy to install. Instructions could be a little more clear in regards to choosing wired or wireless connection. Photo printing is great.

Printer was easy to setup. Issue was it kept eating any paper in the tray. It would not print and would always jam the paper. It was the same results for the photo paper. Parts are all plastic so it looks like the plastic piece that guides the paper was not molded correctly so the it causes the paper to jam and not feed correctly. It also does not have a paper guide at the end to hold the paper secure.IT only has guides on the side.

Haven't printed any photos yet, but I've printed documents with clip art and it i great! I've printed on specialty paper and it works really well. It's a bit loud, but still wonderful. Love that it is wirelessly connected. Great printer so far!

I bought this printer because I am getting married and wanted to be able to print my own Save the Dates and invitations. I was worried that it would take forever to print such a large quantity of photo cards and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it printed! Good quality of photos too! The wireless capability was a breeze to set up. Just a little tip: If you are ordering this printer to go with a Windows 8 operating system, the set up DVD does not work with Windows 8. You have to download the instructions from the HP website. I had an HP rep walk me through it.

The printer is new and I haven't printed a lot yet, but the quality and speed seem good. I have it connected wirelessly and while initial setup went well, the printer has gone offline a few times for reasons unknown to me, and it took some doing to get it online again. Seems like a good printer for a low price.

Opened the box, followed the instructions and was printing in less than 30 mins. Only downside, is everytime Comcast goes out, I lose sync and have to remember to re syne...other wise I hit print about 3-4 times before I realize we lost sync...then I get 3-4 copies....

Bought this printer with my new HP laptop. After an hour reading web help, downloading drivers and diagnostics, and cursing, it is still not printing. Also tried using the HP app for my android phone. Didn't work and wouln't acknowledge the password in the confirmation e-mail HP sent (why do I need to confirm anything? just print!). I'm sure I'll be able to get it to work, but this a really lousy product with a poorly implemented UI.

I was waiting for my son in law to hook it up, but was bored one day so I did it. It was so easy. Finally have wireless and the printer does everything. I just had to hit the buttons! It is a bit noisey but that doesn't bother me. If I am not frustrated by the time it works then believe me anyone can do it. The printing is good. Was not impressed with the printing of a picture but that is not what I use a printer for. I would highly recommend this printer.

Easy to install... I hardwired to my pc, connected wirelessly to 2 different laptops, email to it directly from 2 different Androids, and everything has been a piece of cake! Instant print jobs, this was by far one of the better printers! This has replaced a previous Photosmart 3000c series nearly 10yrs old that just won't die, but, 10x better than the Deskjet 5600 we had... So far, I love this printer! The only issue (which I have not yet looked into) is some of the Avery Label maker software kept providing an error, but, I may just need to re-install or check the software settings. But otherwise, the connectivity and ease of use for this printer are fantastic!!! Excellent prints for photos, documents, etc... Printer will even auto-detect which is printing from an email/wireless feed and use the appropriate feeder--paper or photo... Great buy!!

Well, got this new printer for a good price form HP and I thought it would be better than my old canon MP460, but I was wrong. First of all, it does not have a front load option and when I try to print my business cards from it, the alignment is wayyy off. I mean, the printer can't keep the avery 8859 inline and the cards come out all off line. The print quality is also less than my old printer. Wish I could return this horrible quality printer.

I've been extremely disappointed with my HP products. The first HP printer I purchased did not contain the installation/setup cartridges. After trying for hours to setup the printer with cartridges I had purchased separately (and calling HP support, only to talk to someone who could barely speak English, had NO clue what I was talking about, and repeatedly left me on hold to return with a completely useless piece of advice), I had to return the printer because there was no way of getting around the setup without installation cartridges. I then picked this printer and have had problems with it ever since. It frequently jams and disconnects from my network, so I have to unplug my internet connection and let it reset before I can print. I just replaced the cartridges and I'm being told that the cartridges need calibrated, but there is no option anywhere to do this. And of course, I can't use the CD that came with the printer to see if it has this option because I now have a Mac (replaced the piece of junk HP laptop I had previously) and apparently it's not compatible. So my printer is now jamming and printing only black ink - the other colors are barely showing up. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase an HP product.

I really like this model so much better than the HP C309sseries. It arrived quickly. I have waited for several weeks before reviewing it to make sure it continued to work as anticipated. So far so good. It's quiet and fast. No long waits for start up after not using for awhile. Very happy with this one. I'd give it a 5 star.

I ordered this printer thinking it would be worth it to upgrade. Wrong! I could not get it to go wireless. I could not scan from within Corel WordPerfect because HP changed the scanning software and it no longer is compatible with WP. That is a big negative right there because I am a die-hard WP user and do a lot of scanning. I also could not get my HTC Vivid nor my Samsung Galaxy 8.9 tablet to communicate with the e-print features. It appears that you have to have DSL or cable to be able to use this printer for wireless or e-print which to me defeats the purpose of being wireless. I do not have a landline or DSL. All I have is AT&T's wireless service. I sent it back after 3 or more hours of trying to get it to work!

I've only had the printer for a few weeks, but I've already used the scanner, copier and printer features. I've been happy with all of them. It is quiet and quick.

Great Value

Pros: - Good value for the money - Lots of features - Fairly easy CD guided setup w/ Windows 7 (let it do the work by choosing automatic install) - Print quality is excellent for text and photos. - Wireless printing function worked properly for both my Toshiba laptop and my Apple iPad2, which was a pleasant surprise in light of today's technology compatibility problems. Cons: - Owners Manual (supplied in box) is very scant on detail, which requires user to go online for full e-version which ...

I've been an HP fan so I ordered this product after my old Photosmart broke down, and i'm really glad i did! :) For the price i paid, this printer has everything that you would need. - Fast print speed and quality - Excellent copy quality and speed - Scanning (LOVE the "scan to PC" option, which lets you start the scan from the touchpad so you dont have to run back and forth) - AUTOMATIC 2 sided printing - This feature is a real time-saver for me since I used to have to manually flip the pag...
