can't scan

Had this less than a month - still can't get the scanner to work! I emailed your company last night - probably, will have to send this back. Otherwise, everything else is fine.

A good buy for the price

A useful product, well designed, this is my second HP printer, as great as the first one.

Great Printer

This is probably the best printer I have ever purchased. Setup was easy as the printer once powered guided you thru it. Printing is fast and my son loves being able to send homework to print from his phone (it really works). I'm very happy.

my first HP wireless printer

This is my first wireless printer. The sales girl from HP talked me into this printer to compliment my 610-1280 qd system. An inexpensive pirinter that for me is pretty cool because it is wireless and it copies as well as printing great photos. I am glad to own it.

Great Printer at Twice the Price

Fast delivery and easy to set up-disc and written instructions worked just fine. Printer was up and running in 20 minutes (would have been faster but I was watching a football game out of one eye). Has been running for two weeks now-no jams, no problems, and no excessive ink usage as some other reviews seem to indicate. I print out a lot of CD jewel case inserts which normally use a lot of ink-but even these 60 black and color cartridges (I normally use the 60XL) seem to be holding up well. Only time will tell about the longevity of the unit, but so far, so good. This replaces a cheaper HP printer that I used heavily for 2 years and only had to replace because I hurried to clear a paper jam and broke something inside the unit. Both the power cord and the USB cord from the old unit work on this one-so that made things much easier and I didn't have to buy a new USB cord. I'm sold on HP-my entire computer system is HP and works very well. I have used the scanner but have not tried the wireless. We have two systems networked for both my and my Wife's home business, but we are both in the same room so don't really need it. The set-up, however, looks easy when you first install the unit.

excellent printer with two suggestions

ePrint wireless is a dependable wireless printer however, the ink cartridges run out really quickly and the print cartridges are difficult to insert into the proper position when replacing.

D110a

A bit noisy, and paper tray is too short to catch copies. Cartridge door has sensitive switch for error message. Too early to tell about functionality in the long term.

Very Nice

This is a a very nice printer and for the money, it is excellent. Easy to install although I made a mistake and had to get help from HP tech, who was very understanding, friendly and professional. The only thing that I don't have with this printer is a tray to catch the printed papers. But I can live with that.

wireless printer

so far i have not been able to get my new iphone to connect to the printer for "wireless" printing as advertised (and the main reason I bought it) not sure why - probably my lack of tech expertise but it should be more automatic and intuitive

Best Purchase Ever

Awesome printer for home use. Kids love the Apps that allow them to print what they want and when they want and I don't have to worry about my youngest getting "lost" navigating on the computer! Much more than I expected. Would recommend to anyone with young children.

It Stinks!!!

I have never had a printer that is as fussy as this one. After struggling for nearly 3 month, I got so angry that I deliberately broke the darned thing and hope never to see it again. AWFUL!!!!!!

Built to sell ink cartridges

The hardest thing about this printer is to figure out how to print a) black and white, and b) change the default to use less ink. The quality is good, but you go through the ink very quickly. Also, the directions on how to set up the wireless is not easy. If you are lucky and it works for you when you plug it in, that's great. It didn't for me and I experienced a lot of frustration. I would not recommend this printer to anyone, unless you really like to buy ink cartridges.

great for the money

My old HP photo printer broke after 7 years. I loved it so much I wanted another HP. This one was much cheaper than my old one. I've only printed a few pictures so far, but I love this one too. For the money, it is a great value. I was very surprised when I received my printer the next day.

HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer - D110a

I've used this printer for about 2 weeks now and so far, it works great. It would be nice if the paper input and output were seperated better, but all in all, so far it works great.

good and installs easy

We received this printer a day early. Very fast service. Easy to install for us old people. good quality print. Works great wireless with my laptop. scans good. A little slow booting up if you keep it turned off when not using like I do. Definitely recommend. Got it at a good price too. Will definitely order directly from HP again.

It is so difficult to set it up via wireless. I could not do it so I just use it via USB wire.

just 1 flaw

the only complaint I have with my new printer is I get a message on the screen that says the ink door is not closed. I contemplated sending it back for an exchange but opted instead to secure the door with a small piece of tape which thus far has eliminated the message. I hope I`m not sorry down the road that I didn`t xchange it. speed of delievery was fantastic. set-up was a breeze. makes great copies.

Just average

Purchased cheaply for college. Wireless capabilities possible, but did not work with my college's wireless internet and I had to purchase a cord. Clear, fast scanning. Main Problem: Very, very unreliable. Jams far too easily, for no apparent reason. Occasionally, refuses to feed paper at all and claims none is there. When it does print, however, it is very clear and fairly quick. Would recommend for light use only, as constant fiddling would get very tiresome under heavy use.

ease of use

I do not like it as well as the old 3200 that I replaced after many years of service. With the 3200 it was easy to just push the right button and the printer minded without a murmmer. The D110a has all the buttons hidden so I have to search for the correct one. Even to make a copy is cumbersom. I would take the old 3200. any time. The D1110a is noisy.

My Favorite Printer

By Dubby

This is the third HP printer I have had. It is replacing one of my older ones. I have liked all three, but this is the best yet. It is fast printing, copying and scanning. It was easy and fast to set up. You can use it wireless or with a USB cable. It picked up my wireless router immediately. The price was great. I love it and would recommend to anybody that wanted a great printer. As a matter of fact, I already have. Thanks HP.

great idea

By wildwns

I purchased one of these for my 85 year old mother because when I send her a photo, she has trouble downloading and printing it. Super easy setup and easy connection to the internet with my lynksys router. I tried it before giving it to her so I could show her what to do, but there isn't really anything to do if you want it to print email and photos (and other attachments) Just register it and leave it on, and it does the rest. It also hooks up to her laptop wirelessly for everyday printing. ...
