works ok, frustrating end of life

It seems shortly after installation the printer tells you to order another cartridge. Unlike most other products on the market that let you know subtlety that end of life is near. The micro chip counts pages and shuts off when it thinks it is exhausted not when you think the print quality has degraded. It always seems to do this at the wrong time. Some one else is using the printer, or on an important project.

reliable and consistent colors

Fine products for a convenience copier where a few pennies per copy are a fair trade for time saved. For a longer run, the per copy cost can be absurd.

I had an aftermarket cartridge go 'low toner' after a few short months of use >500 pages on a 2000 page claim. With 149 pages of life left in it it JAMMED. No carousel rotation to get it out! Finally got it out and put in this 4000 page OEM and all is sweet.

Utstanding printing results

The toner used provides some of the best results of any printer I have ever used. I only wish the cartridges were far less expensive. The HP Color LaserJet 2820, which uses the toner, is one of the best machines I have ever owned. And provides flawless copying, printing and scanning. Keep up the good work.
