Disappointing purchase
The best lesson I learned from this purchase is check your box immediately upon returning home from the store. I purchased a wireless ready printer but the wifi adapter was taken from the box I purchased. I procrastinated for a year before attempting to set-up. Thus, I got to buy two wifi adapters but only possess one.
This product cannot work on my wireless router. The tutorials have not been helpful. I am going to have to seek outside guidance which really infuriates me since the directions make the set-up seem so easy.

HP802.11 wireless print adapter for office jet H47
Don't bother buying this piece of junk. I have attempted to install it several different ways and have not had any success. Tried to find a phone # for assistance, not a chance.

Good product
I should have purchased this device sooner. I travel with my printer, got this device to print from my Thrive using HP eprint Home and Biz. IT WORKS.

blue tooth for printer
this works great! the installation was difficult, instructions weren't all that clear,but it works just great!

AdHoc Network - setup difficult
I originally bought the HP Officejet H740wbt thinking it included both the Bluetooth “and Wireless b/g adapter”. It did not so I ended up purchasing the HP 802.11 b/g Wireless Print Adapter.
The printer prints well, but the wireless setup is difficult. I was able to get the H740 working via a Netgear router, but not directly with the Laptop in AdHoc mode. Even after several attempts.
I have setup other Mfr’s printers before and this one was by far the most difficult, as I never did get the AdHoc to work.
I have been in the computer field since the sixties and used pre-PC (Z80) based micro computers. I have installed, supported and provided local user support on PCs.
But I would still recommend this printer to others, as it does do great printing for a portable printer.

H470 Wirless Printer Adapter
This adapter has allowed me to be fully mobile and on the go! I can access my printer while working from my wireless network at home. There is no worries with cables! I can pack up my mobile printer and travel and be on the go! It also allows me the ability to work from different locations throughout the house!
