Reliable Printer, Easy Ink Replacement

I've been very happy with my HP printer-it's reliable and easy to operate and maintain. Replacing the ink cartridges is simple and convenient, and each cartridge has lasted a long time. While I can no longer find the cartridges locally, ordering directly from HP has been easy and efficient, with smooth shipping.

Thoughts on the HP 53A
The reason I prefer the HP 53A is that it fits in my HP Printer.

Some are good and some bad.
Out of 2 cartridges purchased within 8 months, one was perfect an the other faulty. It was returned and never a response from HP.

when the new cartridge was inserted it did NOT print !!!
After some one else examined the cartridge it was discovered that some tiny HANDLE was sticking out. we puled on it & off came some form of SEAL. After inserting the cartridge again it was able to PRINT.
In the HP on line instructions there was NO MENTION of this SEAL that needed to be REMOVED before the insertion of the new cartridge !!!!!

The toner was very black
I needed black toner and this toner really exceeded my expectations. It is black, just like the description promised.

I love this product.
I have been using these cartridges for my printer which I bought in 2007 and they still work great every time. The free overnight delivery is the icing on the cake.

Good Product
I do not know how many copies on this cartridge, but it has lasted me for over 2 years of home business and personal use. The costs make up for any limitations. I used previously a HP2200 and find this printer and supplies to be a much better deal for my usage.

Poor quantity
The literature states 3,000 pages for standard usage but over the past few purchases we are getting considerably fewer pages. I find that we have to change a lot sooner than we use to and our usage hasn't gone up.
