I have used this monitor for less than a month and so far so good. This is my first 4K monitor so it takes a little getting used to. Seems to have and anti glare coating which is OK since I have several windows around my desk.

I purchased this brand new from hp and when I received it, along with a brand new tower, the screen was so glitchy (flashing bright pink and blue with lines running through the screen) that it was not usable. I called HP technical support, and they tried to update the graphics card and bios but was unable to resolve the problem. I had to send the pc back, after only having it 1 day! I spent over $1600 for this pc and monitor, and I would expect that it worked flawlessly right out of the box. We’ve always been an HP family.... now I wonder if we should try a different brand. Hopefully HP can resolve this issue.

Amaxing display, no glare. The stand is however extremely fragile and any movement, even typing, can get it to almost fall down. You need to place it on a surface that is not touched.

I have been trying to find a 4k monitor that is affordable and has good color accuracy for photo editing, Really great price for an ISP monitor and best of all it is USB-C computable! love that it also has enough power to charge my MacBook as I use the monitor.

The only complaint is that the instructions are inadequate and it took us 10 minutes of struggling and guessing before we succeeded in adjusting the height. So frustrating! The display has a clear and wide image that is great.

I love this monitor. I bought two of them and use them for everything including color correcting. My only complaint is that I bought this monitor and then a day later it went on sale and arrived a day late.

Im working from home and I use a MacBook Air laptop. I had been using just the screen and controls that are available for a few weeks. I did some research and found the Envy Monitor plus a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and now I have rocking work environment. The Envy monitor is incredible and was super easy to set up. How did I live without it?

Been using only a week but a huge difference from my 1080p monitor. Colors and clarity are outstanding. Reason for dropping one star is due to the Display Assistant wouldn't install from the disc sent with it. No big deal, Windows default settings for the monitor is sufficient.

I got this along with my ENVY AIO pc. The quality of the screen and attractiveness were both good - but although you could tilt it, the height was not adjustable which was a pity and made it a little high on my desk. There was a slight gap between the screen and the monitor edge meaning that you had to be careful on cleaning using tissue as you could end up with bits of tissue stuck in the edge at times. As others have pointed out, the stand and clasping mechanism is absolute garbage - it came off many many times... I would have to grab and support the monitor whenever I had to move or rotate it because the chances were it would fall off. Although I had it for less than 2 years, the edges of the display began to deteriorate, showing colour bleed, overlapping/transluscent images. I was almost relieved when recently I had to move my table a little and the monitor once again fell off the stand, faceplanting my table with a loud thwack, and damaging it internally bad enough that I now have to replace it. I assure you I will NOT be replacing it with another Envy monitor.

Bought to go along with my HP laptop which also has a 4k screen. Let me say it's night and day difference where the laptop screen is so much better than this. It's not to say that this is a bad screen, it's got fairly good color and seems to be well made, it's just not even close to being as vibrant as the 4k screens on their laptops. I have to use them one at a time now because the difference in quality is that noticeable. I even did some more research to see if this monitor is actually 4k, because it didn't really seem like it.

Its a good quality monitor, the delivery and service from HP was great. I am a developer so bought this as a coding monitor, it would be great to have speakers. The down side the text appears blurry when Im writing code.

This is my first time buying a HP monitor. The aesthetics of the display are great. The included stand is solid. (Anyone experiencing a wobbly stand either did not 'click' the bracket into the back of the monitor correctly or did not tighten the screw on the bottom of the stand.) I do have two issues... (1) The display resolution is good but I am not able to reach the advertised 4K60Hz resolution with my Macbook Pro. The highest resolution I can attain is 2560x1600. I tried the USB-C and HDMI cables; both provided the same resolution. (2) There are utilities and applications for this monitor that are only accessible by PC, and not Mac. Other than those two issues, this is a solid monitor with great design and display quality.

I bought this monitor a month ago in spite of the negative reviews about the stability of it on its stand. HP has always been known as a solid design company and for the life of me I couldn't believe so many reviews claimed that the monitor was unstable and prone to fall over. Lo and behold, I received the monitor, set it up, and couldn't be more pleased with the supports. I have it at the back edge of a free standing desk and there is no sign of it being unstable. Now as to the monitor itself, the picture if beautiful although that was not the case coming out of the box. As initially set up I found the colors to be overly intense and the brightness to be way too high. Fortunately the software that's supplied with the monitor allows you to easily tailor the picture to your individual preference. And the software is both comprehensive and easy to use. Once set properly 4K video was stunning. To sum it up, great monitor at a very affordable price.

I purchased this display to go with my HP Omen computer. I could have gotten a less expensive monitor but I will be doing photo developing and believe this monitor will provide the results I'm looking for. I haven't hooked it up yet...life is getting in the way right now. I do have great expectations with the knowledge that if more money were invested I could have gotten better. Ultimately I paid about $405 plus tax. HP has not disappointed me yet, so I'm looking forward to using this Monitor soon.

I've been enjoying this monitor for two weeks. Everything about the picture is better than other good monitors I've used before. As noted by others, the two HDMI inputs are reversed, with HDMI #2 being the one to give full 4K. I've found the stand to be adequate, despite what others have said. Perhaps, during the past two years, H-P has given it a different stand? One reason it may have popped off the stand for some people, is that they never snapped it fully into the locked position. I glued a section of a wood 2X4 onto the front of the stand, to firmly support the front, just in case of trouble. It is held at an ideal angle for viewing. I've set my computer to display at 200% normal size for text and icons, so they appear as they would on a 1080 screen, but the videos and photos are unaffected, showing at the 4K level. It's the ideal solution for both text and images.

This monitor is so badly designed and manufactured. Text is blurry and there is no mechanism to adjust the height. It's so cheaply made and assembled. I have been using computers and monitors for 39 years by different vendors, the HP is far the worst system I have ever met. Unfortunately this university only allow buying computers from HP :-(
