Never worked right. 18 month old, less than 1000 pages on it, ran out of black ink. changed the cartridge now I get error 0xc6fd0013 ink system failure. can't even complete a factory reset without error. heard they were just replacing the units if asked , due to the horrible design flaws and reliability issues, but no longer as they have discontinued the models.

This is an all in one fancy inkjet printer. I decided to go with this printer for my office to replace a 10 year old HP colour laser. If you are looking for a decent all in one printer, this is a reliable product. If you were expecting laser quality, this would not be the printer for you. If I had to make my decision over, I would have purchased a colour laser printer without all the bells and whistles (fax, scan, copy). The quality of the print, copy, scan is very good for an inkjet that is roughly $1000 - again not as crisp and clear, colours not as vibrant as a laser but can still hold up on its own. I do like that it prints pretty quickly up to 50 ppm double sided and is relatively quiet. Some of the things I do not like with this printer is that the printed pages still feels wet and will smudge when using a highlighter...

I purchased this in 2018, barring some problems and a replacement a year later, I've loved this machine. So much so, I just purchased a second tray to go with the original unit as we have been using it more and more. However, that required an update to the print driver on our Mac computers and now the machine will not function correctly. Color only on a generic post script driver but only trays 1 & 2 work, I can use all three trays on the PCL driver, but no color, The driver I downloaded from HP, no longer works on the Mac. We've attempted IP config adding the machine, I've spent hours on the phone with HP Tech support, and nothing. If you have a Mac, stay away! It's a known issue in their own Knowledge Base and you can find plenty of discussions online.

I was excited to get this printer, but straight out of the box I started having problems with it. HP customer support was no help. I wanted a replacement printer, the exact same model, but I could not get through all the layers of support/lack of support to get a replacement, so I gave up and returned the bad printer. Please make sure to credit by payment card.

I bought this printer to replace an earlier version of it because my previous printer stopped printing anything from Microsoft Office. After speaking with Apple, it seems that HP needs to update its firmware. I have been a loyal buyer of HP, but if this is not fixed, I will not buy their products again.

When our small business needed a new printer I decided to call HP to have them recommend options. The rep suggested this printer and we couldn't be happier. We'd had an old laser printer, but she said this new technology would be faster and better quality and that, for our needs, we didn't need to spend the money on a laser printer. She couldn't have been more right. It's great. Quiet, fast, clean print with cheaper replacement cartridges and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this unit!!

I hate this printer. The wireless goes on and off sporadically because it keeps detecting an ethernet cable, which doesn't exist. Complete crap.

This will now be the 2nd PageWide Pro printer that has had a spectacular failure after the warranty. The 477dw failed on the logic board - cost to replace the board far exceeded the value of the printer. What did I do? Buy the 577dw. Things were great -- until I got out of warranty again and now have a print ink leak from the cyan cartridge. I love these printers for their speed, the beauty of the print quality and the two-sided printing but I can't keep dumping $600-800 every couple of years. I'm out to find another printer.

I'm delighted by the performance and efficiency of this printer -- and very surprised by the negative reviews here. I've used laser printers for the last two decades and hadn't really noticed how good ink has become. Compared to my HP 605n, the print quality is as good or better, slightly faster with b/w text, and also now color as a bonus! At the same time, the cost per print is lower (b/w) and I'm using less energy. Absolutely no issues with drivers printing/scanning from Mac/PC/iOS and Android on my network. Works like a charm all around.

Bought this printer recently, scanning problem, support agent requested us to reset printer to original factory settings, upgrade firmware, problem still exist, need to RMA and wait for replacement, refuse to a new printer to ease the situation, as a result, our company does not have printer to use at least for 3 weeks, (printer need to ship back from Vancouver to Toronto). Very frustrated and bad experience in purchase HP printer this time.

I have owned this printer for 5+ years and love it. Only had one issue (the scan table broke) within the warranty period and they sent a technician out to install it. Printing is super crisp and lightning fast - honestly just as good as any laser printer I have used in this category (granted, a $20K laser printer will do a better job).

I just wanted a great printer that worked out of the box, every time, with not a lot of complications. This one does it. Only one complaint: The power cord is not very long. Maybe 2 ½ feet .

Great multifunction machine,I have been a customer of HP for more than 15 years of all the products I’ve ever had the 577DW is far the best machine I’ve ever use given what’s going on with the coronavirus and this pandemic the price became secondary to me and I was able to get it at a discount directly from the HP store

I bought this month I have been working from home is account payable, I do print lots invoices. I had the HP OfficeJet all in one the series 6960, it broke down on me.. this printer it’s perfect for all the invoice I print, very fast.. I did like the one I had it was very new.. Wish I could have fixed that.. well I need the printer faster.

I bought 2 of those for business. I had problems with both. One sends wrong signals about the ink level or just does not print. The other has big red ink dots on sheets! The whole red ink cartridge just emptied itself with those ink spots! disappointment and will try another brand!

it keep searching for tray 1 which is a bad design to use if left open .So i always default to tray2 . tray 1 paper guide are terrible .always take more than 1 paper or half inch think of paper sucks up .and imagine out put door as a garage . out put door is always touching the top frame of the frame of the machine ,got message to clear the paper of out put area.too many error .only have 2.4 ghz wifi. always have connectivity issue with computer or going offline. i like the speed and color touch screen and big cartridge .

I bought this printer 2 weeks ago, and thus far the printer works great. Only caution is that with color prints, regular paper appears damp/wet just after printing. It does appear that better results will be achieved with Colorlok brand paper - - which I have not yet tried. Good value.

I have had nothing but problems with this printer from the day that I purchased it. There have been so many problem with the printer I don't even know where to begin. 1) The blue screen of death just popped up one day and it is very difficult to remove it. 2) The scan driver just stopped working one day and none of the tools provided by HP seem to fix the issue. When you call tech support they want to charge $122 to fix their problem. 3) The printer cartridges seem to drain prematurely even when you are not printing in color and doing mostly scanning. These things are extremely expensive. 4) Connecting a network cable apparently prevents the wireless access from other PCs on the network. I have been dealing with this issue for several months and overall printer problems for over a year now. I am so done with HP. I swore that I would never buy another HP computer and now I am swearing to never buy another HP anytime. Take my warning, this printer is 100% junk.

I love my Pagewide Pro 577 dw, but there is a simple feature not working. When I send a fax from the Fax Printer feature, the printer does not generate a printed confirmation page. I have to go through multiple layers of online menu's to see the fax log. Any way this can be fixed? Thanks for any help you can provide.
