Almost Exactly the Same as My Original
It works as expected, but had hoped my original 120v cord would fit as it has a 3-4 foot lead on it. The terminal on the power supply it shaped differently. I had to use the supplied power plug which means the entire power supply hangs in the wall. It exactly resembles my original HP power supply, the cord terminals are different. But it works, that's what matters.

Works but doesn't mate with existing extension power cord
Bought as a direct replacement to a failed old unit. The product works well, but it did not fit with the existing computer's extension cord that is supposed to plug into it. It was not a direct replacement but we were able to use it to plug into a wall socket.

Recommend but with one add on
Great size and weight for travel compared to power source that comes with it. But to make it more practical I had to purchase a two-foot extension cord because on the plug location. It was too limiting for many plugs while traveling. Overall, still a strong recommendation but get an extension cord as well.

Perfect Traveling Charger
I wanted to order an extra power cord for traveling and was happy to find this 3 ft. power cord. My original power adaptor gets to stay in one central location at home while I use the travel adaptor for all trips outside the house.
It's a lot lighter than the original cord that came with my laptop. This means less weight in my carry-on or overnight bag. US hotels have power sources in the desk area, so this 3ft. cord allows me to work continuously without losing power when needed.
The price was great. It's already packed for my next trip.

Consider the price and what you need it for
Does the job and was on sale. Nice size, will last a while, but eventually the rubber around wire of the main power component separates. This is a replacement. As shipped, the bulky part of the unit plugs directly into the outlet. This likely adds to the strain on the wire. I find the wire a bit short for what I need. The plug itself is detachable. I would have liked the option to add a 3 prong power cable so I could use the charger with a longer cable, and not have to plug it in directly to an outlet.

Lousy design
Plug prongs are on the transformer block. Good luck plugging this into a crowded outlet or power strip.

Even though the box and instructions show a cable to actually connect this to an outlet, there is none, instead a tiny pronged part that cantilevers the whole adapter away from a wall socket. Good luck not knowcking into it or starting a fire when it begins to arc. *All* adapters sold with a computer have one, but not this replacement part. Good luck, too, trying to finding one on HP's site. Eventually found a complete charger on eBay at half the price.

When I ordered the unit, I checked with HP support to verify it would work with my 2018 omen 15 laptop and was told it would, but it does not charge the unit so it was a wasted purchase for the purpose it was intended.

Often unusable for travel
Too heavy to stay in wall power outlets. Too heavy and too bulky to stay in airplane convenience outlets. Too big for recessed wall plugs, recessed floor plugs, recessed plugs in conference tables. Too big when plugs are placed in the lamp in a hotel room.

It works great and does what it's meant to do. However, because of its weight, it's difficult to stay plugged into the wall; better to use with a power bar lying flat on the floor.

Works well; few warnings
I bought this when I left mine in a restaurant after a presentation. It works fine, but the block is so heavy that if falls out of some plugs easily, ESPECIALLY in airplane power outlets. If you travel would look at one that has the 3 prongs. If you mostly use in wall plugs, it works well. Also, because it's meant for travel the cord is a bit short.

This product includes ONLY an adapter for plugging the brick directly into an outlet. It does NOT include an actual cord to go between the outlet and the brick. And the USBC cord from the brick to the computer is only about 3 feet long, which means 1) you need enough room on/round the wall outlet to have the brick right there, and 2) the wall outlet needs to be very close to where you want to use the computer.
If you want to use this as replacement/backup for the power cord/adaptor that came with the Spectre x360, you'll probably be sad. I was.

I would have liked to have known the outlet prong wasn't a separate piece with a longer cord but instead attached directly to the battery box.

Works as expected
I ordered this for my Spectre x360 laptop as the original charger stopped working. Before this I tried few OEM chargers that claim to work with the laptop but didn't really work. This one is working as expected and charging my laptop without any issues or warnings.

Adapter can charge a laptop. I bought a laptop from HP also, and though it comes with a barrel connection to a charger, I can also use the USB-C power adapter to charge it.
