This monitor is fantastic, BUT setup was frustrating. I bought this for a single-cable work-from-home setup - charging, display, and an ethernet/USB hub. Everything worked, except the ethernet frustratingly topped out at ~330 Mbps with no explanation. Changing USB-C/Ethernet cables, devices, and bypassing my switch didn't help.

Despite searching online, I couldn't find anyone else a solution. Finally, hidden deep in the settings, I found the culprit: USB hub speed was stuck on 2.0 speed!  Switching to 3.0 speed unleashed my full gigabit speeds. HP, this setting NEEDS to be more obvious and default to 3.0 to avoid needless customer frustration. It's NOT mentioned in the manual!

Aside from that, this monitor is excellent! Colors are great despite the matte screen, text is super sharp, and the stand is rock-solid aluminum. Love the sleek design too with thin, uniform bezels with no obnoxious logo.

Overall, I recommend it, but HP, please fix that setup issue!

PSA: Ethernet requires setting change to work correctly!

Great next-generation Z monitor. What you would expect from a reliable series.

Another great Z product.

I got this as a step up from my old HP 23 inch monitor, and I'm not disappointed. The resolution is excellent (and much better than on the old one), the height adjustment is perfect, the USB-C connection is convenient. All definitely worth the higher cost. Only complaint is that the setup was impossible to do without customer support because the instructions were poor to nonexistent, and support was hard to get quickly.

Great for AutoCAD, love the USB-C connectivity and Display Port Out for daisy chaining. I have no need for a dock.
