I purchased this alarm clock because the solar power feature and the atomic feature suggested I would not have to reset it. I was also drawn to the temperature display. These do work well. However, the alarm sound is very weak and the clock only has a backlight when you push a button, so you can't read it from a distance at night. These limitations make me unhappy with the clock overall.

It is fine if you are sitting right in front of it on your desk, but a little further away it is impossible to read, except for the time. The screen is sunken into the case. Might be better if the screen was at the front of the case. The reflections off the silver case make it hard to read the date/month,etc. It is a great idea, but changes need to be made to make things easier to read when you are near your desk, but not sitting down.

we had a heck of a time getting this product to link onto the CO site; ended up doing manually and am assuming that from now on the time changes will happen automatically. We'll see.
