I purchased this roll of canvas because it's lighter weight compared to the Epson exhibition canvas which makes it suitable for easier stretching by hand and its 2" core wich is easier to install than the smaller core of the other canvas. I used this with the printer profile for my specific printer (Epson 7800) and followed the printing instructions. I however did not like the output in the blacks. Im using this to print wedding portraits and the groom comes out like ine big block of black ink. I then adjusted the image to make it brighter in the blacks and the result was not much better, the suit ended up looking blue and the details looked like the black gamut warning on the screen. The colors and skin tones were remarkably smooth and very pleasant, i lobed the overall image just not the blacks in the suit. Lastly i decided to print using my regular settings i use for the Epson Canvas, the results in the suit was a pleasing and detailed suit, it lacked a little bit of contrast but it had all the detail in the image, the rest of the image suffered in quality slighly as it wasnt as vibrant and a little less contrast but as an over all image was more acceptable. Compared to the epson print i would pick the epson over the hahnemuhle for an overall consistent reproduction of my wedding portraits, for other work or portraits that do not have as much black i loved the colors the hahnemuhle produced. I wouldnt recomend for wedding portraits based on my experience but other artwork/portraits it would work fine.
