Inpress Linen Matte paper

Fabulous paper for printing scanned artwork and photos. Scanned watercolor paintings look like originals when printed on this paper.

Excellent Fine Art Archival Matte Paper

I have an Epson ET-7550 Photo printer that will print photos or anything else using up to 11x17 inch paper. As I was going through the different 11x17 inch papers available, the watercolor paper descriptions intrigued me so I decided to give one a try. This is a 100% cotton rag paper that is 15 Mils thick which makes each sheet quite heavy, but It had no problem feeding through my printer. It dries in a few moments and is also supposed to be water resistant. I’ve done both color and black and white prints and the both came out beautifully. It has an embossed pattern that is supposed to make it look like linen and I think I would be happier if it did not. The matte finish becomes a moot point once the print is behind glass in a frame. It makes my color prints look more like paintings or drawings than photographs and I like that. The only thing I would add is that most of the watercolor papers I looked at seem to bhquite thick, so make sure your printer can handle thicker papers.

This is my goto paper for my digital art

I am a digital artist and one area of my work is in digital watercolors. I paint them on my iPad then print them out on this paper and the outcome is amazing! Looks just like a traditional watercolor. The paper is textured on on side and a bit more smooth in the other. The weight is perfect for high quality ink jet printing (I use a Canon IX6520) - no bleed through, etc. also excellent for framing. I always use Inkpress watercolor rag to print out my creations because I haven't found anything that rivals it!

Great Fine Art Paper for Inkjet Printin!

I use this paper for printing fine art images/designs on my inkjet printer. It's just thick enough and has a good texture to it.

Best Value for Archival Paper

I was looking for a good weight, textured paper that would provide the best quality rendering on my fine art photography cards for a price I was willing to pay. I was originally testing this paper out for the 8x10 prints themselves, but the texture was a little more than I wanted. For the greeting cards however, it works beautifully. It's a little pricier than I'd like and cards don't necessarily need to be archival quality, but it gives me the color rendition that I find essential.

Show Stopper

I have started making the majority of my prints on this paper. It does not give the traditional photo look, but people will walk past my traditional prints to see these. The texture gives a fine art quality and the paper adds a nice, warm tone. I have printed landscapes, city scapes, fine art and portraits on this paper. The portraits were a pleasant surprise, especially fine art nudes in both color and monotones.

Excellent

Nicely textured matte finish 100+ year longevity I got tired of gloss 4x6. A lot of my photos look better on matte.

Exudes Quality & Luxuriousness

Use w/ my Epson ProStylus 3800 w/ stunning results. Print mostly fine art images. Gives me sharp, detailed prints that can handle the most subtle of watercolor tones & hues, as well as the most dramatic contrasts of lights & darks for oils or acrylics that originated on canvas panels.
