Ikelite Underwater Video Housing for the Sony PC-1000 Camcorder

Easy, back light, flash, and display battery buttons on back of camera are provided. Manual button and Cam Ctrl on side can be accessed.

Camera viewing screen opens fully to provide an unobstructed view without utilizing a mirror. Super Eye magnifier for the optical viewfinder is also included. Space is provided to allow use of Sony NP-FA50 and NP-FA70 batteries.

Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe, allowing you to see if the case is sealed.

The base removes instantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite II battery pack. Thehandle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing.

Optional Sony #0630S wide angle lens installs inside of the housing. Wide angle lenses from Epoque or an Inon UWL-100 wide lens attach directly to the outside of the port.

Housing provides use of the view screen or the magnified viewfinder, and includes a URPro filter. Some touch screen functions can be accessed, allowing access to white balance, focus and exposure settings with controls that rotate out of the way when not needed.

The Ikelite design leaves almost nothing to be desired for safety and capability.

Housing measures 8" wide, or 12" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 7.5" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water with camera is ten pounds. Housing operates safely to 200 feet.
