Purchased in April of 2006, scroll wheel control design was modified by Ikelite later; replacement was with a arm control kit. Easy to install yourself. Fix kit was sent to me for free by Ikelite, just send them the serial number of your housing and they'll check if it needs this change. If you use the housing in shallow depths, then you should NOT experience the scroll wheel being depressed when not intended. Ikelite customer service is fantastic! Fixed lens port can have attached other lenses externally via it's 67mm screw threads. I got the dual handle tray so I can mount 2 strobes. If you plan to do this, then upgrade the tray handle before you buy the housing. If you do NOT get the tray handle at all, then you will need to add weights to neutalize the floatation of the housing. Easy push buttons and arm controls; because it's a clear housing you can see most of your camera so remembering where everything is visually, isn't a problem. This housing has a better depth rating (66meters/200ft) than the thinner cheaper housing that you see made from Canon. They are rated for 33meters/100ft. Clear housings allow you to see any leaks starting to occur (that is if you look/check). You can see the major O-Ring on the housing back before you take your system under. I'm shooting mostly in manual mode so the S80's controls for aperture, shutter and ISO is very important to me, this housing is great!

• Housing for Canon S-80 Digital Camera ( camera not included )
A virtually indestructible heavy duty thick wall housing that operates safely at 200 feet. All functions of the camera are accessible in this corrosion free clear polycarbonate molded housing. The flash built into the camera operates fine in the housing with the included diffuser, but an optional DS series strobe placed farther from the lens improves the photographs by producing better coverage and reducing the illumination of particles in the water.
Optional EV Manual Controller provides 10 power settings with the DS-50 or DS-125 digital SubStrobes without requiring any fibre optic "sync cord" nonsense. An optional #9523.31 Release Handle and Tray, required to attach SubStrobes, allows easy attachment and removal of SubStrobe mounting arms at the touch of a button.
Optional adapters: #9306.80 allows attaching and removing the Inon UWL-105AD bayonet style lenses underwater. #9306.81 allows attaching and removing the 67mm threads of the UWL-100 conversion lenses from Epoque and Inon underwater.
