This innovative product, designed specifically for the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II, ensures a perfect fit and compatibility with all the camera's features.
Crafted by Ikelite, a renowned brand in underwater photography equipment, this housing is designed to protect your camera up to depths of 200 feet (60 meters). It features a clear back for easy viewing of the camera and o-ring seal, and is removable for enhanced durability and easier camera access.
The housing is constructed from a robust ABS-PC blend, providing strength and corrosion-free performance year after year with minimal maintenance. Its light color deflects the sun, keeping your camera cooler for longer and providing superior contrast for an enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen, and o-ring seal.
The housing's ergonomics are designed for ease of use, with a large, curved control lever for shutter control and premium soft-touch knobs for intuitive operation of rotating controls. All rear camera buttons are accessible via smooth action, hard anodized aluminum push buttons, clearly labeled by laser engraving on the back of the housing.
The standard 3.9" diameter optical glass port accommodates the camera's full 24-120mm zoom range underwater. For super macro photography, add the press-fit Macro Adapter with any 67mm threaded macro wet lens. For a wider angle of view underwater without edge distortion, vignetting, or weight, the optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome simply slides on and off of the housing's lens port.
The Underwater Housing for the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II Camera is only compatible with the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera as shipped by the manufacturer. Other Canon cameras, including other G5 X and G7 X models, are not usable in this housing due to differences in control placement.
