The scratch-resistant glass lens port allows full use of your Canon PowerShot G9 X's zoom range without vignetting. The port front accepts press-on color correcting filters and is 67mm threaded for attaching optional accessories. The housing is made from a custom ABS-PC blend with acetyl controls, offering strength, UV protection, and fundamentally corrosion-free performance. A central 1/4-20 tripod mount on the bottom of the housing provides a perfect attachment point for stabilizing trays and constant-on lighting.

For optimal underwater photography, consider adding a high-lumens light if you're diving below 60ft/18m or at night. This will aid your camera's focus and enhance the colors in your photos and videos. Please note that the camera's built-in flash cannot be used inside of the housing.

The Ikelite Underwater Action Housing also supports the attachment of external wide angle and macro wet lenses via a 67mm thread on the front of the 3-inch diameter ports. Wide angle lenses can help you fit more into your frame underwater, while macro close-up lenses can make small objects appear larger.
