The APS-C crop sensor is particularly effective underwater, whether you're capturing close-up shots with a 60mm or 100mm Macro lens or wide-angle views with the Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye lens.This underwater housing features the innovative Dry Lock (DL) port system, which places the O-Ring on the outside of the port mount to improve visibility and minimize the risk of water droplets reaching your camera sensor. The DL ports are not only the lightest on the market but also robust enough to withstand rough surf. The housing supports both manual strobes and TTL electronics, depending on your shooting needs. For the fastest and most accurate TTL exposure on the market, consider adding the CT1K Canon TTL Kit and a compatible Ikelite DS strobe. The 200DL Underwater Housing is easy to set up, with super sensitive and naturally feeling curved levers for the shutter and AF-ON. All push-button controls are machined and hard anodized aluminum to reduce weight and resist salt build-up. The back of the housing is laser engraved with control symbols that will never fade or fall off.The included Super-Eye Viewfinder enhances the view of the camera's optical viewfinder when viewed through a dive mask. For a larger and brighter view, consider attaching an optional Straight Magnified Viewfinder or 45 Degree Magnified Viewfinder.Constructed from Ikelite's new ABS-PC blend, the housing front is stronger than its clear counterpart, provides improved contrast and visibility, and keeps your camera cooler in the sun. Each housing is made in the USA, individually inspected for fit, and water pressure tested to 200 feet (60m).Please note, this housing is only compatible with the Canon EOS 7D camera as shipped by the manufacturer. Differences in lens and control placement prevent other DSLR models, including the newer EOS 7D Mark II, from being used in this housing.
