Heavy duty rotation base is made of 5/16 inch Aluminum (Camera brackets include spacers to allow them to fit onto the rotator base. Detent discs are available in any number of indexing positions from 0 (blank - for free rotation) through 22 positions (22 through 36 are available upon special order) The discs are made from a high-strength bearing polymer that provides a very long life working in conjunction with the included stainless steel ball plunger.

All QuickPan IV rotators include a 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tripod mounting thread and have a convenient storage location for the threaded adapter bushing. Like the prior QuickPan III design, the QuickPan IV rotator includes a centrally mounted bubble level and a rotation locking/friction drag feature.
