While the world of broadcasting relies heavily on the quality of the picture to tell a compelling story, the HC-HD300 HDTV Native Multi-format 17x Zoom Digital Portable Camera System, a product of Ikegami, a leading brand in the broadcasting industry, ensures superior performance and high-quality images. This advanced camera system is equipped with three progressive CMOS sensors, each capable of capturing full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution images, offering a wide dynamic range of more than 600% and excellent sensitivity of F10 (60Hz) / F11 (50Hz), and a high signal-to-noise ratio.
The HC-HD300 camera system is versatile and adaptable, with CMOS sensors that can switch between interlace and progressive readout modes. It also features a new generation DSP optimized for HD performance and a docking style construction that offers fiber, triax, and self-contained configurations.
The camera system comes with a VF700W/55 7-inch HDTV LCD viewfinder kit, including a VF700W 7-inch size viewfinder monitor, mounting bracket, studio hood, video cable, and power/tally cable. It also includes a Quick EZ Focus assist feature to aid camera operators in obtaining precise focus and special 4:3 highlighting for intuitive framing of simultaneous 16:9 and 4:3 outputs.
The HC-HD300 camera system is equipped with a FA-300 fiber camera adapter with a digital transmission system and a BSF-300 digital base station with 1.5Gb/s HD SDI outputs (SMPTE 292M). It supports 1080i and 720p formats, and the HD outputs will follow the camera head format.
The camera system features a compact 1.5RU rack mount size and a built-in down converter providing SDI and analog encoded video out. It also has two return video inputs (HDTV or SDTV) for the viewfinder and a QTV encoded video input for the prompter monitor.

These three new products, FA-300 Fiber Adaptor, BSF-300 Base Station and PSU-300 Power Supply Extension unit, have OpticalCON DUO connectors for fiber cable connection. It can accept either a common optical LC-Duplex connector for single-mode fiber cables or OpticalCON DUO connector for hybrid cables.
