Haven't had my new camera very long but so far very easy to use!

I am very happy with this camera. It has a viewfinder one can look through as well as a viewscreen that pulls out from the back, turns, and swivels to make it easy to frame a picture. There aren't too many superzoom ("bridge") cameras that have both a viewfinder you put your eye up to and a swivel viewscreen. This camera has excellent optics for a not-quite-DSLR. I haven't had a whole lot of luck getting good focus when I have the camera at its longest zoom, but I think if I took to putting the camera on a tripod that would help for that sort of thing. Another problem I keep having is taking videos by mistake because I keep touching the red video button, but that's my fault, not the camera's. Most of the frequently accessed functions (like delayed shutter for a group photo) are easily accessible. Unfortunately no printed manual comes with the camera, but it's readily available on line.

My first digital camera was a Kodak EasyShare DX4530 and it still takes great pictures. Since I wanted more control over picture-taking, I purchased the Kodak Pixpro AZ652. It has more options than I will ever need and the photos are just as bright and clear as they were from my previous Kodak camera. The menus and controls take some getting used to. I've downloaded the manual and have gone over it many times. There were some technical issues with the camera, so I called their Helpline. I got to speak to a real person who solved the problem and gave me a tip to ?reset? the camera to the factory settings any time something doesn't work properly. That solved my issue. I also requested an additional battery, which they sent me. All in all, I am quite satisfied.

Reasonably easy to use, but really suffers in less than bright light. Not great for normally lit school gyms, for example. Video quality is actually better than photo quality in interior light somehow. Zoom is pretty good, particularly in daylight.
