Ketan R : Does Kodak still make digicams? I thought they had exited the business. I have a Kodak Easyshare M883 since 5 years. Doing great! Needed repair just once, coz the lens had got dislodged, maybe due to impact while traveling.ACCOUNTS P : We just purchased ten of these cameras for our early childhood center and so far so good. The bankrupt printing and imaging company announced Thursday that as part of its efforts to focus on profitable lines of business, it plans to get out of the digital camera, pocket video camera and digital picture frame business by July. While Kodak itself may no longer offer these products, Kodak-brand cameras may continue on the market, as Rochester-based Kodak said it would explore licensing its name to another company offering such gear. Kodak had been pulling back on its digital-camera business well before now. Last year, the company announced a strategy of focusing only on profitable areas for its digital cameras, meaning it would cut the number of products and the locations they were offered

I use it on vacations, very nice pics but after a week red lines appeared. I bought & returned my first one cuz of the same problem. I bought another on cuz I figured it was a one time problem, the reviews on this camera are g8 so I got another one to be disappointed again.

I finally found a camera I love.

This is my small camera that goes with my in my purse everywhere. I tried other well-reviewed cameras after I broke my last C1530, and returned them both. Now I'm back to the C1530 and it's even BETTER and faster and sharper than the one I had a year ago.

What a Welcome Relieve for this Olde Pro

Price, price & price. I have owned 13 or 14 P&S's over the last ten years. Picture for picture...the C1530 by Kodak...is by far and away the BEST. Stick in a pocket and go.
