Nice Camera

I love the size of the camera, it will fit in your pocket. I like that the camera is easy to use. I only bought this camera to use when I didn't want to take my big camera with me.

Surprising performance at a budget price

This camera fools many people because its part of Kodak's ho-hum M series. In fact, it takes great pictures, has a 3-inch LCD, and delivers great battery life. Its big drawback is that it always starts up in Auto / "Smart Capture" mode, which applies Perfect-touch post-processing to every photo taken in Smart Capture. This slows the camera down. The way to beat this is to switch to Program mode; this lets you disable Smart-Capture and speeds up shot-to-shot performance. One other heads-up: keep your ISO levels at 400 or less. Above ISO 400, images get kinda water-colory. Kodak introduced an upgrade called the M1093is. I don't know why you'd need image stabilization on a camera with a 3X zoom; on this one, it would just pull more battery power. I'm happy with the M1033 as is.
