Works best for me

The most efficient for developing (2) 35mm or (1) 120 roll of film. For those that do not develop that often this works best and negs are beautiful.

Good if you're starting out with self developing.

Costs about the same as taking film to a lab so you're not saving money here but you're getting your negatives immediately instead of waiting 2 weeks. Comes with all the chems you need for developing 2 rolls of film in a 2 roll tank.

Great kit for beginners

This is by far the best kit for a beginner trying to develop black and white film for the first time. Everything is already pre-measured, just use all the content in the sachets to develop two rolls of 35 mm. You won't use all the content from the wetting agent, that one will last for 16 rolls or 35mm!

Does what it says on the tin

For someone just getting back into home developing, this was a perfect starter pack. While it's definitely going to be cheaper to buy separate concentrates from here on out, having a quick way to see if I really wanted to get back into darkroom work was great (though, that was a silly question, since the answer was obviously yet).

For someone just getting back into home developing, this was a perfect starter pack. ILFORD ILFOTOL is a non-ionic wetting agent used as a final rinse before drying films. It can be used in all manual and machine processes to greatly reduce the risk of drying marks being formed.

It can also be used as a final rinse before drying fibre based prints to provide rapid, even drying. ILFOTOL is part of the ILFORD Optimum permanence sequence for fibre based papers.

Additionally, ILFOTOL can be used to clean glass and plastic lenses and filters and as an anti-static treatment.
