Excellent camera
Very nice camera to work with. External flash photography is great using the camera in Aperture priority or manual, even with flashes with auto sensors (if You really know how to use the classic flashes with auto sensors) using a Hotshoe to pc converter such as the Nikon AS-15. The V-Lux 1 is an outstanding camera,and has all the necessary compensations any experienced digital camera user may want. Lens is superb, and the user options are plenty. Flash performance is exceptional, even lighting and clear results. Its menue is very easy to understand, and offers many choices. The only drawback I found is that the stabilizer function is somewhat limited. At 12x zoom, you need a tripod.
