I bought this film for shooting landscapes with my medium format camera. I used it out in the Scablands of Eastern Washington and was very pleased by the contrast and detail I got with it.

Good film with fine grain. I'd read that this film is difficult to modify tonally via development. Rodinal time changes had almost no effect. DD-X is more delicate and easy to over develop; highlights seem to posterize easily. I think FP4 may be a better choice for me; in DD-X it holds immense shadow detail.

Beautiful film! Develops well at home and dries flat! Good for scanning, too!

I re-spooled this film to use in my Kodak Brownie Target Six-20. Easy to respool, and the backing paper still had the correct frame numbers, so it worked just like it was supposed to. Photos taken outside in bright sunlight were a little over exposed, but there aren't many adjustments to make on a Brownie so this wasn't the fault of the film. Still, I can't believe how good this film made the old Brownie look! I'm going to try the Ilford 50 for outdoor photos next time. If you have a camera with any sort of exposure compensation, I'm sure the exposure would be great.

Been using Ilford films for many years. Cant say it use this film all the time, but sometimes you just want the look of the fine grain this film offers. To me it offers a great tonal range, and these days I scan the negatives and work it in photoshop. Recently photographed in the desert of New Mexico and the images that were rendered from this film were awesome. I will keep using it and making images.

It has been years since I used my camera. I purchased this to test the camera and I forget what it was like to run film instead of shooting digital. This is a great way to get back to what photography is all about instead of the run and gun mentality of some shooters today.

It's a very fine product reasonably priced. The 100 speed BW Ilford produces lush images capable of enlarging. Adorama ships its packages very carefully. I purchase most of my film there now.

The unique tonal range of this film makes it perfect for portraits. I use it in my Mamiya RB67, and they love each other. Its rendering of skin tones is luminous, and I think it looks sharper than other slow film. The exposure latitude is phenomenal for so slow of a film, and you can be certain of getting a large number of successful photographs.

Many vintage cameras use 120 size film. I have been using Ilford Delta Pro 100 to explore a group of vintage 1930's folding bellows and twin lens reflex cameras. Many of the apertures and shutter speeds are approximate, at best, and this film is forgiving in exposure tolerance. The fine grain and long gray tones match well with the feel of the times for these cameras.

I do exclusively landscape photography (medium format). For years I have used T-MAX and felt it was very sharp but had a bit of a tendancy to over-expose highlights beyond the levels I anticipated. It additionally did not hold clarity as well as I would have liked beyond 11" x14" prints. The Ilford Delta Pro has dramatically improved the sharpness, clarity, and overall acutance of the image. As an example, in forested scenes, the hundreds of individual leaves hold similar sharpness to a handful of single leaves in close-up settings. The film does not have the warmer tones of T-MAX 100 but is cooler in nature. The first time I developed this film I used Kodak HC110 developmer. I was not satisfied with the results - the highlights did not hold detail very well. I contacted a technician at Ilford and he indicated that developers requiring sorter times (such as the HC 110) are not good match-ups with this film. The following are both Kodak and Ilford developers he suggested are best: Kodak brands - T-MAX (I have used this with good results) - D-76 Ilford brands - Ilfotec DD-X - Ilford 1D11

The best film for doing fine arts photography. Nice and slow for those of us that love pinpoint detail. I do a lot of my work on Tripods and this gives me the right speed to capture milky waterfalls and still lets me hand hold in daylight. Use in Hassy 500cm.

This film exhibits soft creamy highlights and great shadow detail. I prefer this film for portraiture and landscape photography. It has good consistency, easy to manipulate with developement and scans well into a digital workflow.
