AMAZING grain! This is one of the rare ISO 3200 film out there. It is a great film for dark situations and also great with the grains. Much better than other film stocks out there.

Purchased 3200 for the first time and I fell in love with it! It allows you to have more creativity by shooting in low light settings. The grain in this film is very fine and good looking. I would highly recommend Ilford Delta 3200.

I love this film. I develop it with Rodinal (artificall lighting looks great!) mostly and D-76 when outdoors. It's an emulsion that I'd buy after death, lol.

If you can't shoot in low light with this film...well, you're doing something wrong.

I have used hundreds of rolls of Delta 3200 over the years. It has never let me down. Good consistent performance. Speed varies with choice of developer with ISO 1000/31 common in typical developers. I find 120 size works well, although there is not much room to crop without the grain becoming prominent. I have not been so happy with 135 size as the grain can get excessive. Tonality is good for such a high speed film, even portraits come out well.

Used this film to shoot a concert, and it didn't disappoint. Great for low-light and responds well to being pushed.

Nice film, very handy for low light and sports, and the grain is tolerable with 35mm, but I normally use it the 120 and with the larger format the grain is very workable. Good stuff for the right job. Two thumbs up.

The fast speed of 3200 is great for exposures in a toy camera (without light leaks) because you don't have to think about how much light you have. I also use this when I need to hand hold my medium format in lower light situations, but rating it at 1600.

This is a dynamite film, in 35 and in 120. A google image search will show you all you need to know about the looks it's capable of - and there are many. To get the most out of this film, you should really be on your processing game, and definitely do some tests at different speeds with different dev. times. It's really very good at 1250-2500 if you want to hold some shadow detail - 3000 and up it gets very contrasty and your shadows will likely be blocked. And hat's off to Ilford for sticking with analog shooters - they've maintained a really nice range of products that are more consistent than east-block brands.

I found that this film has a sepia cast to it that is not appropriate for use on every occasion; I prefer the crisper look of TriX

I shoot a lot of music concerts for bands at various venues and always in low-light. This film handles it great. I can get fast shutter-speeds in very low-light. The film is consistent across multiple exposures and within each frame. The grain isn't as bad as I expected and gives the shots a nice feel.

This is one of my favorite B&W films. Produces great textures at ISO 1600-3200 for night photography. You definitely need to push 1 stop in development (develop at ISO 6400 if you shot at 3200) or the negatives turn out too thin with an overall lack of contrast, but this is easy to do with HC-110 type developers. The only real downside to Delta3200 is its rather steep price, but you get what you pay for!

Very grainy, yet pleasing look. Developing with Sprint was a bit of a pain.

Well there isn't an ISO 1250 on my camera to select. It should be a prime ISO like 800 or 1600 to make any real sense. I shoot mine at 1600 an get it push processed for 1600. (additional costs apply)

I love the grain of this film. This is my fave film for the gritty, moody indoors/street photographs I have been concentrating on. I shoot this at either 1600 or 3200. I know what this film does, and don't have unreasonable expectations

Try a Red Filter
By Rusty1024
Ilford Delta 3200 is the best high speed B&W film out there. You can shoot this film anywhere from ISO 800 to 6400 and get good results. My best results have been at ISO 1600 using HC110 developer at dilution B. Kodak stopped making Infra red film. But you can put a red filter on Delta 3200 and shoot during the day for a quasi infrared look. It is more sensitive to IR light than most B&W film. With the #25 or #29 red filter you get dark skies, glowing skin tones and dreamy grainy images. Trul...

beautiful film
By crazy4format
a very flexible film, with good tonal range and beautiful textural qualities when printed. I'll load my bag and shoot this film at 400, 800 and 1200 depending on the light levels in the various parts of the city.
