John C : I am interested in purchasing this speaker system. I see that you can hook up an ipod/iphone to the transmitter. Can you connect the transmitter to a stereo system?VALERIE R : It connects with a small earbud/headphone plug so IF your stereo system has a small headphone port you can purchase a 3.5mm male to male cable. If your stereo only has the larger RCA port you would need a cable that is 3.5mm male to RCA Stereo male or an adapter that is RCA Stereo male to 3.5mm female and then a 3.5mm male to male cable.
Shopper : does the wireless system work outside if the stereo is inside.is it difficult to set up. ive never used a transmitter to play music, does the transmitter aact as a relay between the inside stereo system and these speakers?Slobodan O : Do you have shipment to Europe, to PolandGEORGE S : It works great outside. I had outdoor speakers before, but they didn't have base as good as these speakers. You have to run speaker wires from the stereo to the speakers. I installed rheostats on each speaker outside, so I could control the volume outside.
These are very good speakers for the price.
Shopper : Where can I get just an extra set of speakers, because I already have this system?Glen H : Unfortunatley, iLive currently only offers the speakers as a set with the transmitter.
