LP Surfactant

This is very good surfactant. I use it for cleaning LP's. I find it better than Photo Flo, which was used previously.

You Can Clean Records Too

I am using Ilfotol as part of a formula to clean and reduce static on vinyl records. Works like a charm. The surfactant properties allow the cleaner to get deep in the grooves to clean and eliminates static electricity. Highly recommended.

Perfect addition to the liquid cleaning vinyl records

An ideal ingredient for cleaning vinyl records. In addition, it has an anti-electrostatic effect

I am using this in an ultrasonic record cleaner. I heard this brand will not harm records. It is working very well for this.

Alternate use!

As a vinyl record collector, I've been frustrated by the high cost of record cleaning solutions. Thus I've begun to make my own and apparently Ilfotol is better and has fewer potential contaminants than Photo-flo.

Bought this product to clean my albums collection so far it seem to be doing a great job.

Ilford Ilfotol is a non-ionic wetting agent used as a final rinse before drying films. It can be used in all manual and machine processes to aid rapid even drying and so greatly reduce the risk of drying marks being formed. Ilfotol can also be used as a final rinse before drying fibre based prints, again it promotes rapid, even drying. Additionally it can be used to clean glass and plastic lenses and filters and as an antistatic treatment.
