Great paper, great company, great products! Taking a darkroom class again after having done so 10 years ago. Adorama has the supplies that I need, great service, and I am still shopping with them 10 years later!

Ilford is my go to darkroom paper for it?s quality and reliability in today?s digital world. I hope Ilford can survive with its commitment to film photography as they are serving a niche market with the quality supplies they need to keep black and white film photography alive. I have CT?s for been using their film and paper products for over 40 years and have never been disappointed!

Good all-around RC paper for darkroom printing. Fairly cool-tone. Not for inkjet or laser, this is an analog, wet-process darkroom printing medium.

I got some beautiful prints on these, and it was my first time in a darkroom.
Under the banner of Ilford's renowned photographic paper range, the Multigrade V RC Deluxe Glossy Surface Black & White Photo Paper stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and innovation. This 190gsm, 12x16" photo paper is the 5th generation in the Multigrade series, a globally recognized and widely used range of black & white photo papers.
Leveraging the latest emulsion technology, the Multigrade V RC Deluxe is a resin-coated, variable contrast photo paper that delivers exceptional image quality across a wide contrast range of grades 00-5. Its full tonal range and superior image quality make it an ideal choice for both beginners and advanced users, including students and darkroom professionals.
The Multigrade V RC Deluxe simplifies the process of creating stunning darkroom prints, whether you're a novice exploring the world of negatives or an experienced printer seeking full creative control. This photo paper also boasts excellent toning properties, providing an alternative starting point for those keen to experiment or learn toning, compared to fiber-based papers.
When compared to its predecessor, the Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe, the 5th generation paper introduces key enhancements. These include a slightly warmer base tint, deeper blacks for enhanced depth, improved mid-grade spacing, and a smoother sensometric curve. These features ensure more uniform contrast throughout the tonal range, further solidifying the Multigrade V RC Deluxe as a superior choice in black & white photo papers.
Since the introduction of the world's first variable contrast Multigrade paper in 1940, Ilford has upheld a tradition of quality and innovation. The Multigrade V RC Deluxe, launched 25 years after the 4th generation, continues to build on this legacy, offering photographers a reliable, high-quality option for their black & white printing needs.
