Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?MATT W : For washing fiber-based printsTRAVIS B : Will be traveling to a place where I need to be somewhat water conscious, and I’ll be making some fiber-based prints. This should significantly cut down on the water needed to rinse my prints.

I do my own B&W film development, and use only Ilford products

I do my own B&W film development, and use only Ilford products (= film & chemicals) - all purchased from Adorama only. I also purchased the subject Ilford WashAid liquid, and use it as a final step in the washing process; I have not used this product in wet print development as I do not do any wet printing. I would like to comment that I use some judgement to use this product as it is somewhat expensive to use for final washing - I use a total mixture of 500 mL (mix of pure WashAid + distilled water) for 120 film; less for 35 film, and it would deplete my supply if I used it for EVERY film that I develop. If my roll (35 or 120) has important shots that I'd like to scan & print, I will use this WashAid step in my process. Otherwise, I wash in plain distilled water (I do NOT use tap water for any step in my process). Hope this helps. If I purchase Ilford WashAid again, I will re-purchase from Adorama. They are super fast, efficient, and friendly, and support film photography (apart from digital).
