Lexar Works for Me

Give the Lexar a qualified yes recommendation. Have two of the Lexar 128GB CFExpress Type B cards for my Canon R5, purchased one a year ago and the second recently. Have used the original one a number of times shooting up to several thousand photos in a day. Card has performed flawlessly. Have heard some comments about Lexar card reliability and while I?ve had good success it does give me pause as I shoot auto and motorcycle race events and there is no do-over! Over the years have had many different brands but card failures have been very rare. Stick to brands Like SanDisk, Lexar, Samsung and Delkin. My favorite is Delkin but they cost a bit more. Kind of like wearing a motorcycle helmet, after the crash what was spent on the helmet is nothing compared to the injury avoided by having one. Tend to buy from Adorama for memory cards and lens filters as they have done a good job on avoiding counterfeit goods in their supply chain.

Good card, not good reader.

Card is 5 stars... No issues at all. Works WONDERFUL in my Nikon Z7. Reader on the other hand seems to have buffering/reading issues as transferring images to my computer takes FOREVER as opposed to straight from the camera. It constantly starts and stops. Even with different cords. But I purchased this for the card, the reader was just a throw-in for free.

Lexar 128GB Professional CFexpress

I've used two of these over the past and they're solid and stable. Very fast read, write and transfer speeds. Zero complaints Have not had a chance to try with 4k yet, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn?t function perfectly. Also, the lexar reader is great. No complaints there either. A solid combination. Would definitely recommend both.
