Got these cards on sale, and they are fast enough to handle 8 FPS and not clog up.

I've been using these cards to shoot sports on my D2H. It is fast enough to keep up with rapid fire 8 FPS sequences without choking the buffer, and has so far been reliable enough to work without data loss.

It's a memory card. There's not much to say about it other than that it works well. This is my second Lexar Platinum II 8GB card. They just work. I've had trouble in one of my cameras with a couple of CF cards of another brand, so I switched to Lexar and all is well.

As expected, I've had no problems with the card. Read speed from the camera is fine. I can take 65 shot with my Canon 40D without a problem, but that might be due to the large buffer within the camera. Download speed onto my computer is comparable to other make cards. No real difference except the Lexar was about $10n cheaper.

This card is currently in use with my Nikon D2H, and handles 8 frames per second with scarcely a hiccup. Yes, there are even faster cards out there, but this hits the price/performance sweet spot nicely.

This card is a great buy for the money, and is backed 100% by Lexar

I am an event photog - everything I do is fast-paced. I have noticed no notable delays in write speed because I arely shoot in CH, but review time (delay between hitting the play button and when the images pops on the screen) is noticable. This now a backup vs primary card for me. No other compaints.

My Nikon D700 which can shoot 5 fps, but I rarely use that kind of speed. When I do, the card reads and writes fast enough to keep up. Reading from the card in my computer is comfortably quick on my work computer, which is about 2 years old. My home computer, however, is 6-7 years old and painfully slow with this card.

An elite and nice CompactFlash card with pretty good 8GB storage capacity. Pictures from my Olympus Evolt E-520 are saved very fast and without any delays. I would say that this is a good value memory card. After all it is LEXAR!

I have tried several brands and types of cards in my Minolta D-7 and have settled on these Lexar cards as the most consistent performers and now use only these.

I was very disappointed with the speed of this card compared to others in the same class (SanDisk, Transcend, and even a Kingston card). Even just inserting the card in the camera took an extra second or two before it was ready to use. Processing in camera after taking a picture took noticeably longer than the cards I mentioned above, even though this Lexar card was supposed to be faster.

Have used them in a variety of cameras and never had a failure or lost a picture. The fast high capacity card are pricey.

Like all Lexar memory cards it works just fine, and was priced very reasonable compared to San Disk.

I had the opportunity to use this card last weekend at my daughter's gymnastics meet. Shooting large JPEG on my Canon 40D, I was able to get about 16 shots at 6 FPS before the buffer filled, and then it dropped to about 2 FPS. If I had a UDMA capable camera, I'm sure the performance would have been better, but this was much faster than my 133X cards I had been using. I shot over 800 pictures during the meet and still had almost 400 shots remaining on the card. I'm definitely a fan of Lexar!

I am using this chip in a Nikon D200 DSLR. This chip writes fast enough that I haven't been able to stop it during ultra fast continuous shooting. Outstanding card.

Card writes and reads fast enough. Unless you are a high speed action photographer, this is a great value. Scenics,Landscape and portrait/wedding photography is easily accomplished with this card. Capacity is sufficient, even in RAW. Great price for a nice extra card.
