Lexar products are garbage. Lost thousands of home movie clips by storing on there drives. If you value your stuff look else where. Beware.

No regrets here. A micro-usb to usbc adapter would really make it a complete package.

I purchased 2 of these drives. One as a spare and the other for everyday use. Physical: There are two ends on this unit. 1 end has a micro usb for mobile & peripheral devices attached to 1 other end which is a regular usb drive. This is a flash drive in itself. You can easily put it in your pocket or store it away with little or no space. When you plug the USB end into the computer's usb port, there is a blue indicator light that flashes when the drive is being mounted, read, & written to. The loop wire that connects the two ends is very sturdy and has a blue clip that keeps the two ends together neatly. One side of that clip has a slit that you can quickly separate the ends to connect the micro usb end to your device. If you use the micro usb end, prior to plugging it into your device, you must make sure your device is able to see this external drive. Fortunately, my galaxy is already setup for this purpose and it is plug and play from there. Still make sure you wait for the drive to show up before accessing it. Likewise, when you decide to disconnect it, you must "unmount" the drive first to prevent any corruption. The light indicator comes on the usb flash drive end also when the micro usb end is plugged in transferring data. If you use the standard usb end, you do not really need to separate the loop due to the fact the physical usb flash drive (male) is a little bit longer than standard usb you are used to using. So ideally you can keep the loop together as is and plug it into your computer's usb port. Speeds: I am not a professional in terms to grade and test this kind of feature. I still have usb 2.0 on my computer and when I transfer files routinely for book keeping, it is faster than the standard usb 2.0. On packaging, it says that it can run usb 3.1 protocol transfers at their speeds listed, also backwards compatible with usb 2.0. Overall I am very satisfied with the transfer speeds with this. Convenience: This is VERY convenient for my use. Particularly whenever I have to transfer files from my mobile, tablet devices to back up source, I do not have to physically remove my memory card and go search for an adapter for my card. With this drive I can quickly use the micro usb end, transfer, disconnect, connect standard usb to computer, transfer, and that's it. My Complaint: Due to the fact that the physical usb (male) of flash drive is a tad bit longer than standard usb drives I am used to, this will make the drive stick out of the port. With it sticking out the port exposing the (male) usb from the computer port, it will cause the usb to be wobbly, and easily bumped making it disconnect from the computer usb port. What I have learned to remedy this flaw is to use a multi-tap usb (one of those 4 port usb thingy). This way it will extend away from my active working area and reduce my clumsy errors when transferring data. Summary: Overall I DO LIKE this unit for what it was made for in terms of use. They DO MAKE a version for apple products (i.e. lightning port) also. I hope this review will help others considering something like this for their arsenal.

Living in Canada I just retrieved it from my US mailing address yesterday. I really like the design of this product. Moving files between it and my PC is noticeably very fast. But its micro-USB simply doesn't work. Both my Samsung Note3 and S7 edge cell phones don't recognize it, so data exchange or charging is impossible. Can't charge my micro-USB Plantronics BT headset either. Since 15 other reviewers are so happy with it, I must have a defective unit.

The first feeling of the jump drive when it arrived is that its high-quality material and sturdy wire, very sleek metal finish. A convenient way to move pictures and files between phone and computer and back. I have a high-end phone that I primarily use for taking photos and this allowed me to transfer my images conveniently from phone to computer. 128GB for $20 is a steal.

I use it to keep pictures while editing between my iMac and MacBook Pro. Makes it easier to switch the editing machines. After the editing is done, I move the files on external hards drives. It is fast too. The price was excellent (Black Friday sale).

Worked as advertised and seems sturdy. Many new devices are moving away from micro USB, but there are still a lot of existing ones out there in the wild and this product works well for them. If you have a need for transferring data using these types of connectors, this product should work well for you.

This flash drive just works and is good for the value paid That said, I wish instead of micro-USB it uses USB C instead. Otherwise, it's still functional as a flash drive.
