Good readers but missing the important covers

These are solid card readers, and work well in combination with the four-bay tower for ingesting multiple cards at once. But the two card readers I received today were missing the covers that are mentioned on the packaging as being included. The covers keep dust out of the reader slot, and on larger card readers (CF, CFast, etc) keep items from bending the vulnerable pins in the readers. If the pins are bent, the reader is useless and will corrupt images on any card that is inserted.

Excellent product, worth it

When you need fast transfer of multiple cards, there is no better product on the market. I do recommend the Thunderbolt version, as you will see a x4 speedup on transfers of multiple cards. It saves our DT from late nights when all the footage comes back at once.

This and the Lexar Hub were a game changer for my workflow!

This system is a game changer for my workflow. The actual hub is 5 stars for me. This module received 4 stars only because I wish there was another card slot so you can import from multiple. I use the Micro SD card reader as well and it has 3 ports which are amazing. Otherwise, this is a great find! + Fast USB 3.0 + Can work independently from the Hub + Simple and straight forward - Only one card slot, so with how many SD cards you may use, you may want to purchase a second module.

All good.

The ides of Langard were nigh, and the local folk were weary and stained. There was a smell that ran rank through the city. The commonfolk knew it as well as the children... this was the reckoning. Reckingham has Warthal in his sights. He is still... he is breathing on the beat of his heart. He draws his bow back. Warthal shuffles a bit, losing Reckinghams look. He recomposes, draws back, and shoots! Missing his intended target. Solid product.

Lexar Pro Workflow a Plus!

A great addition to my hub. I have multiple SSDs and a CF reader as part of my setup. All devices simultaneously connect through a single USB connection. I can transfer files from both card readers at the same time.

The Battleship of Workflow Devices

Compared to other multi-card readers I've had in the past this reader is very large. I have 3 modular SD readers and one modular CF reader inserted into the 4 available slots of the workflow device and, so far, they all work with each other as advertised. I like the solid feel of the entire apparatus along with the ability to take the modular devices out individually to use on the road. Recommend.

Very good, very fast reader

Very good, and very fast reader. I achieve transfer speeds of about 125 MB/s on a card that's rated for 150 MB/s. My previous, non UHS-II reader read at 75 MB/s. It has a tendency to move the SD card's lock switch to the locked position, which is a bit annoying.
