Works well but a bit flimsy

The first few times I used this reader, it felt flimsy and its throughput with a Sony G-series 128 GB XQD card was too low - about 45 mpbs. That prompted me to give a 2 star review but now after a couple of restarts of my Windows 10 workstation, I'm getting 250mpbs+ speeds. Very happy with this reader now.

Great card reader

Excellent. Easy to use. No software to install. Extremely fast file transfers from the XQD card to the external hard drive. Small and easy to bring with me when I'm shooting. Highly recommended.

Fast but large

Works perfectly. However, because of the large size, doesn't fit in my Macbook pro USB port if I use my Thunderbolt ports simultaneously. Not an issue if you have other USB connection options on your laptop/desktop.

Works great, weird shape

Works as indicated. Gives fast usb 3.0 transfer speeds. Only thing I don't like is the awkward shape, which can block neighboring usb ports on some pc's.

Works well but has awkward shape

It works as advertised, but the awkward shape of the reader can easily block adjacent ports on a computer or hub. I recommend getting a USB3 extension cable along with this reader.
