Questions & Answers

Shopper : I see references to use with Canon 5D MkIII. Will these cards work with the 5D MkII?MANUEL S : I Have four of these CF cards and I think they are great. I shoot using a large raw and small jpeg and I have not run out of space yet. My initial read still says 999. I have a 7D and on get very little down time with the formats I shoot. In high speed mode they perform greatWES K : I love the 32GB 1000X and use it in my Canon 1DX and 1D Mark IV. Canon has a firmware upgrade for the 5D Mark II that is described as follows: Canon USA has EOS 5D Mark II Firmware Version 2.1.2 available for download. Firmware Version 2.1.2 incorporates the following change. 1. Optimizes the camera’s performance when using certain UDMA 7-compatible CF cards released in February 2012 or later. If you have the firmware installed you should have no issues with the card. Otherwise install it.JOHN B : "I use this card with my 50d & 7d canon. I do not have a problem. However, I suggest that you contact WWW.Canon.Com/ support. I see no problem But contact them anyway. John R"JOHN B : I use this card with my 50d & 78d canon. I do not have a problem. However, I suggest that you contact WWW.Canon.Com/ support. I see no problem But contact them anyway. John RJESS L : Yes, they will work fine with the 5D MkII. The older camera may not take full advantage of the very fast read/write speed of the card, but this card will still offer the advantage of loading images very quickly to your computer using a good card reader.
hitoshi o : Are This the same goods as LC32GCTBNA10002?GELU D : Same thingJIM M : i use these in my nikon d800 and they work well and fast.LARRY M : Yes, if you have a DLSR that is capable of using this hi-speed card. I have a Canon 5D Mark III and these CF cards work great. If you shoot continous shooting, these are a must.Everett B : According to the item number you posted, Yes this is the same item. I like it, and plan on buying more.
william c : nikon d800 with its 50-70 mb raw files, how many images will this card hold at peak?JASON C : 400ALUISIUS S : I shoot only RAW, no JPGs on Nikon D800. I can get around 600 shots on mine. I hope that helps.ROMA T : Since I use a Canon 1DX DSLR, I cannot give a meaningful answer to your question about the number of images a photographer using a Nikon d800 might get using the new Lexar 32GB 1000x CF card. Best Regards.KARL K : I shoot the D800e. My camera is set up for 14 bit lossless compressed RAW files. These run between 37 and 49 MB in size. Using this card, I have been able to store between 750-775 files in these size ranges consistently before the card is filled.WILLIAM K : There is a formula but I really do not remember it. My camera is a 12.5 mb and can get 18 to 20 mb files on the card which the camera tells me I can store 1.5-K raw files. Hope this helps and the cards are great.FRANK C : I have used this card with my D800 and found that the shots remaining indicator will show 400 when set on 14-bit RAW but I have comfortably shot 500 images on the card with 600 being the outside maximum. The shot remaining indicator will continuously adjust as you fill the card because it assumes worst case scenario that every image will be 80 Meg.ELI N : Above 700 -740, depending on the compression.

Great Card--Buy It

I use this card in my Nikon D800. The files in a 36MP camera are huge and I need a fast card like this one to keep up. If your camera can handle UDMA transfers, this is the card to get. Lexar has always been highly compatible with the Nikon cameras I have owned.

Superfast Cards

Bought these cards for use in a Canon EOS 1DX body. Shooting at 12 FPS these CF cards keep up with the buffer showing no lag time in writing to the cards. Perfect fit for this camera body.

Second one I bought as a backup

The first one of these I bought died after one shoot but Lexar replaced it immediately. I have shot that one for a year. Got this one as a backup, secondary card since the 1DX has two card slots. The speed is tremendous and I can shoot 30+ frames before hitting the buffer.

Clearly faster

I do a lot of long exposure shots, sometimes a couple of minutes. When I use an ordinary memory card, I can do about 3 of these shots and then the camera tells me it is "busy" and I cannot make another shot. With the Lexar 1000x this is very different. It doubles the shots and the writing to card does not take nearly as long. When I just bought it, I did not really note the difference. However, the other day my Lexar was full so I had to fall back on an older 400x card and it made me miss some awesome sunset shots because it was "busy". So, good buy and the lifetime guarantee is nice as well!

Exactly as promised

I use two CF cards in my D800 and D800e. Fast and dependable. Do not switch CF cards - format in one camera and use it there only.

Fastest card in my bag

I shoot with a Canon 5D MkIII. Previously, my fastest card was the Sandisk Extreme Pro 16 GB card at 90 mb/sec write speed. In comparing the two on a 20 second burst (beyond buffer filling space by about 50%, I found the Lexar 1000x 32 Gb to allow me to shoot 20% more images.

Works great with Magic Lantern!

I ordered these to record RAW video with The Magic Lantern firmware on my 5D Mark II. They work great. The RAW video eats up memory quickly so it is good to have extra cards. These Lexar 1000x are the most dependable I think. By the way use Magic Lantern RAW modules at your oun risk as the firmware is in alpha form. The crop mode on the 5D Mark II eliminates the moire and aliasing on the cameras HD!

Fast and Reliable at a Good Price

I purchased the Lexar 32GB CompactFlash cards to supplement my existing cards, providing an additional capacity of 800 RAW images from my D800. While I have only had the cards for a short period of time they have performed flawlessly. The card R/W speed means that the limitations will be the camera, flash, or something other than the card. The cards appear to be well made, come with as good a warranty as any in the business, and are a good value. It appears Lexar is challenging the industry standard and making good progress.

Great Card!

I now have four of these 32GB UDMA 7 cards for my Canon cameras plus several older Lexar Professional cards in various sizes and speeds. I wouldn't buy anything else, in four years I've never had a failure. Best cards on the market!

NOT worth it. Card failed w/in 100 shots

Bought this card for a 5D3 because of it's rated speed. Worked fine at first- VERY fast saves, very fast transfer via USB 3.0... Then at a critical moment-- for a perfect shot, 5D3 comes up with an error- "Card unrecognized, please re-format" or some such-- to make a long story short, lost all the images on that card, could not reformat in camera, and no matter what we tried, card would not work in the camera at all.

Why reload...

Great CF card. I use 2 of them in slots of my Canon EOS 1DX. I find it's a good balance between size and risk. Does as advertised and haven't had a problem.

Twice as Better

I always used SanDisk or Lexar, so with my camera I decided to get the Lexar and so far no disappointments. Would recommend it to anyone, I use a Canon 5D MkIII, so instead of getting a 64GB, I decided 2 X 32GB would be better, even with the setting for a Raw and Large jpeg, i can shoot over 600 per card.

Super fast in a Nikon D4

Using in my Nikon D4 it is super fast, and clears the buffer in seconds. My computer has USB3.0 so the download time is also very fast and is a great time saver.

Good Fast Card

Needed a CF card for my D800. This card is fast enough to allow 5-6fps shooting with my D800. I do like the CF cards a little better as they seem to built to withstand a lot of use compared to a SD card which is small and easily flexible.

Lexar 32GB Pro 1000x CompactFlash Card

I use this card in my Nikon D800 camera. It can sustain write operations at full burst mode rate. Transferring data from the card to my PC using a Lexar USB3 card reader is very fast. The Lexar reliability has been very good in the past and I believe this card will maintain that tradition.

Exactly what I need!

I use this high capacity card to record images and video on my Canon 5D MkIII. I record in both RAW and JPEG. The resolution is around 22 MB hence a high capacity card is a must. This card is the state of the art and very fast. I can record over 1,000 images in dual RAW and JPEG. The burst capacity is also great. I'll probably add additional cards later on. Hopefully the price will come down.

Fastest Card around!

By Bryan G.

The Lexar 1000x is quite frankly one of fastest, if not THE fastest, cards around. Ron Galbraith's card rankings have all variations of this card taking the top spot for the Nikon D800 which is one of the reasons I purchased this card over the SanDisk Extreme Pro. In my Kingston USB 3.0 card reader, I get the following read/write speeds from Crystal DiskMark 3: Sequential: 142.6 MB/s Read 117.5 MB/s Write 512K: 66.69 MB/s Read 42.85 MB/s Write 4K: 5.514 MB/s Read ...
