Questions & Answers

Keith M : How much video will this card store?CHARLES M : I use this to shoot video on my D7100 Nikon. I find that if I use the highest frame rate and resolution you will be limited to about 50 minutes. I normally shoot at 24 FPS at the next lower resolution and you will double the time. I check in the menu and define the card getting the video and the card getting the still shots. I recently doubled to a 64 gig as the backup and video storage. The 64 gig chips need the newest 64 bit reader or download the file through the usb port. The 32 gig Lexar has never given a read write error.KEITH G : The answer is totally dependent on your DSLR(camera) or video recording devices sensor. Check the glossary in your devices manual it should have a chart that will give you an answer. It will vary widely from device to device depending on how many megabytes it shoots an individual photoANITA N : I usually delete what I've taken after I downloaded to my computer but I get quite a lot of picturesJARVIS J : I dont do video, but shooting RAW with my Nikon D7000 I get 950-1200 images. Hope this helps. Good Luck
JAYANTA C : Will Lexar Professional (16GB 400x, $14.95) be better than this one (Lexar, Platinum, 32 GB, 200x, $18.95) for my Pentax K-3 DSLR?LARRY M : The picture of the CF shows 800x not 400x. Either way you will much faster transfer rate at the expense of storage space. Overall the Pro series is eons better than the Platinum series. I would only buy Pro.CLAUDIA O : I'm very happy with the performance of the professional 400x. It gives me a bit more leverage with lighting. The 16gb is plenty of memory. Hope this helps Jay.DANIEL F : These are my general criteria for selecting an SDHC card for a decent quality DSLR (regardless of specific model -- I myself am shooting with a Nikon D7000). First of all, I recommend selecting the highest Class rating and the highest transfer speed, so that the camera can handle fast bursts of continuous shooting when needed. Secondly, I personally use SanDisk cards, because they have a superb lifetime warranty and will replace failed cards promptly and with no questions, no matter how old the card. (Sadly, they aren't as supportive about failed flash drives.) Possibly Lexar has a similar warranty -- you should check. Thirdly, always have multiple cards on hand, in case one of them fails. If this would be your first & only SDHC card, plan on buying at least 2 of whichever you select. Next: Although I still use some 8 GB cards, I mostly work with 16's and 32's. (The 64's & 128's are still a bit pricey.) I tend to shoot several thousand images per travel assignment, and the 16's and 32's are sufficient. Next: Check all the reviews to see whether any card you're selecting has broad complaints about quality. Ignore sporadic complaints ... there will always be some for any product. Based upon my criteria, between the 2 you've chosen, I would personally prefer the faster Pro 800x Lexar (unless the reviews scare me off). And -- critically important -- ALWAYS backup your photos after each day (or trip) of shooting. ALWAYS.
Shopper : Canon rebel t3?DAVID S : Do not know, I am a nikon manGLENN O : Nikon 7000 with two SDHC slots. I usually shoot 4000 pictures on our 3 week trips and 10 videos of 30 seconds or less with no problems.KEITH G : If your asking will the lexar 32gb class 10, 200x platinum II (sdhc) work in a canon rebel t3 ? The answer is probably a yes but since I have only used it in Nikon cameras don't know for sure. Your camera manual should have a chart as to which sd cards will and won't work with your particular model

Lexar Platinum SD card

This card is a great value and I bought a 2 pack a year ago and have had no problems. The read/write speed is a little slow for DSLR video capture, however. It will work, but there are faster cards out there. The 200x speed designation that Lexar uses is equivalent to about 30 MB/s. I prefer a card that is in the 60 to 90 MB/s range for my Canon camera. I use the Lexar cards in my Tascam DR-60 audio recorder and they work fine.

Huh?

I got this card six months ago for my Fujifilm X100s and it worked just fine until I removed it. Now I get a 'card error' message rendering the card useless. I tried reformating it but no joy. I guess that I should not have removed the card fm the camera. (The card doesn't even register on my PC via a reader.)

SUPER PRICE FOR A 32GB MEMORY CARD!

I use these in my NIKON COOLPIX P600. Super fast on burst shots. Fast upload speed on computer. One good thing, along with warranty it's covered for life of the product. Only draw back, there is no retrievable software in card.

Excellent hi capacity SDHC card

I use these Lexar SDHC high capacity cards in my Air Stash flash drive to expand the capacity of my iPad allowing me to bring movies, TV shows and extra music for layovers and free time when I travel. They can also be used, of course as camera back up storage as well.

High Quality Card

At one time, I used bargain quality cards because they stored my images just as well as the more expensive high-quality cards. However, after I lost a few images due to card failure, I decided to only use high quality cards. I now use Lexar, SanDisk, and Toshiba. Until recently, 16GB was my largest card and Class 4 was my fastest card write speed. I have been so pleased with the capacity, speed, durability, and performance of the 32GB class 10 Lexar memory card that I immediately purchased two more.

More for your dollar

Dollar for dollar, this product is reliable (so far) and fast enough for my needs. Used it on my DSLR and haven't had problems so far. Would definitely buy it again. Lexar has been in this business for some time now like Sandisk, Transcend or PNY. I have been using only the class 4's before and these Class 10's are speedy. I haven't rated it a full 5 stars yet since I just started using this...but I do trust the brand.

Works fine

I did think the 200x used by Lexar indicated speed, when actually it is a little slower than my other cards at only a speed of 30mb.

sweet cards, good performance

Overall the card performed great and my first pictures on it are from this morning's lunar eclipse. My Pentax K5 has a tight spot to pull out the card and I would've appreciated a deeper notch to use for pulling out the card. That said, it doesn't change my rating and I remain at 5

Outstanding product and price!

I bought this product due to its outstanding price and known quality. I've previously used 16GB versions of this product. I used it last week on a trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It performed flawlessly. You can see some of the images I took at: http://www.ilhphotography.com/p550877550 (starting with image #13).
