Mark P : Please tell me if I this calculation is correct. If I scan at 16bits at, say 4288x2428 this is approximately 70MB per image. If the Max Scan Speed at 16bit is 300 / minute then the machine will scan 4.28 images per minute or 257 images per hour, minus the time for 5 reloads of the magazine. Does this sound accurate? Thanks!STANLEY A : Can't verify your calculations. We are scanning 35MM slides from slide feeder at 16 bit size 369 MB, 100% resolution, output 1000 PPI. Actual time varies from 1.99 minutes to 2.01 minutes per slide. Actual size is 392 MB.Hope this helps.

exellent device

great machine ! for 35 mm, especially for slides & BW negatives. Not so grainy as Nikon 5000/9000 for example. for medium format - excellent and good for LF need a very fast disk system with X5!
