I'm printing 16 x 16, B & W photos on this paper using an Epson 3800 printer. The paper has a great texture and heft and is just slightly warm, which I find quite beautiful, as it knocks down the harshness of most white-white paper stocks. I've tried lots of brands, lusters and weights and this is by far and away the highest quality paper I've used.

I have used the Crane Museo Max paper for years and really love the texture mat effect. I have printed with this using a Epson R3800 printer and a Canon Pro-1 printer. Exceptional results. Very clear and crisp image and color is superb. Paper feeds well. Paper is excellent quality. Highly recommend.

I do b&w infrared work and this paper has far proven itself as the paper of choice for it. It's coarse texture works so well with the surreal infrared look. I'm still using my old trusty Epson 2200 so I bump up the ink output to 5% to get thick rich blacks. Getting the wide tonal range I love with b&w is a challenge with infrared, but this paper handles it very well. I also love the thickness of this paper which just feels like quality. It's a little pricey but for an A+ photo paper with a thick artsy feel and unique surface, it's very reasonable. I use the 8.5" x 11" and the 13" x 19".

Paper holds color well, has a nice warm tone. I feel like it could be a bit whiter than it is, but people seem to like the warmth of it. Is light enough to use automatic feeding but heavy enough for sale.

I found myself trying to design and order a photo book for my grandmother's 90th birthday at the last moment. After missing even the most generous printers' deadlines, I logged onto Adorama.com and ordered a box of Museo Max and a few ink cartridges for my Epson Stylus Pro 4000[...] I created 21 10 x 8 and 2 20 x 8 multiple image and single image layouts in photoshop. The content consisted of approximately 8 personally cleaned, scanned and restored 80 + year old B&W photos, 10 cleaned, scanned and restored color photos ranging from 60 to 15 years old and about 20 photos taken with an old sony digicam or my old/faithful/near-death Eos 20d. After ensuring my screen was accurately soft-proofing my printer/paper, I printed each layout and trimmed them to fit in a 10 x 8 25 page, self-adhesive album.I was quite nervous that results would be inferior to a professionally printed photo book or even silver halide prints. Any anxiety proved unfounded and the texture and matte finish of the Museo paper served to create a much more unique photo book than is commercially available.

Museo Max is perfect for reproducing artwork. It has an unobtrusive but definite texture, a slightly warm cast, and takes and holds color well. Not sure how it would work for photography but for giclee prints of artwork it's excellent.

Using in both HP5500 and HPZ3100. Excellent replacement for Arches. Great B&W and color reproduction; sharp reproduction, crisp colors yet able to retain a full range of gray scale in B&W. Only drawback is excessive curl at roll's end. You've got to love this product.

From my experience the Museo Max paper transforms a color print into a piece with almost watercolor painting qualities: highlighted areas are now a brushstroke of a lighter color; intense colors are further intensified; parts of the edges of the photo image are sometimes not a true straight edge, creating an almost 3D effect. Each new image, emerging from the printer, is awaited with anticipation!
