I bought this camera to take pictures for work. It's fine for that. It's very slow. If I move my hand slightly when I depress the shutter, the picture is fuzzy. I would not recommend this camera for the price. I trusted the name Minolta.

I bought the Minolta 5Z for my daughter who is 6 years old. During the short period I tried it, my opinion is it gives an acceptable picture. Its processor is slow. When there is a bright area included in the scene, it becomes very slow during triggering and the flash doesn't work. In conclusion, Minolta MN5Z is good compared to its low price.

Optics
With 5x optical zoom, you can get up close and personal with a subject, without ever losing your resolution like you would with digital zoom. And when paired with an excellent 20mp sensor, Minolta's quality glass lenses deliver crisp and clear renderings of whatever you aim the camera at.
Sensors & Processing
The camera is equipped with a 20mp sensor, which translates to high-definition photos you can print at poster size without losing any resolution or quality. The sensor is also capable of very high color sensitivity. A sensor this good, paired with Minolta's pro-level optics, delivers crisp and clear images at an incredible value.

Record video with sound, thanks to the built-in microphone, and store your footage and photos on the included 8GB SD card. The camera comes with a hand strap, a carrying pouch, a quick-start guide, and a USB cable and an AC adapter for plug-in power to supplement the rechargable li-ion battery.
