Good little camcorder for the price
Works very nicely. It is a good unit for the 89 dollar price point. As long as you aren't expecting 400 dollar quality for a 89 dollar unit, or disappointed that it is "only" 1080P.

Shockingly shabby for a brand like Minolta. Poor video quality and limited usefulness.
Disappointing video quality, plus it?s useless for live streaming because all the intrusive icons on the view screen are also on the video output, with no way to hide them. Shockingly shabby for a brand like Minolta.

Good, but not great, starter camcorder
The Minolta MN80NV is a wonderful, inexpensive camcorder to carry around for self-taping or TikTok videos.
I would rate it higher but it comes with limited expandability, no input for an external microphone being primary among these, and the touch screen is fussy.

Minolta videocam
Adequate for simple videos with not much action. Instructions barely readable and do not explain how to set exposure adjustment automatically for dim situations. Adequate for beginning unit.

Minolta MNV-80IR review
Nice camera, good video quality for the price.
Touch screen feature is a nice ffeature, but not easy to work with large fingers.
Battery life is great, and hdmi output is a nice touch.
The IR feature is not great as it is very limited with the single IR led. Fun feature to use close-up.
