I bought this to show slideshows of some events that I had photographed to friends, etc. (Showing on the smartphone screen to a small group just doesn't cut it.) The images are very good - sharp, detailed, stable, bright, good saturation, minimal to no glare. I am very pleased indeed with how they look. I am not as pleased with the controls. Not very intuitive, at least to me, unless you just want to turn it on and let it show pictures randomly. I have not figured out how to change the defaults so that they stick - it _always_ starts playing music, and I don't want to hear it so I have to go through several menus to turn it off; after it goes through a folder of pictures it starts showing photos from another folder or its main memory, and I want it to stay in the folder I selected (usually on the USB drive); I cannot figure out if there is a way to set the photos in a certain order, and the manual and web site are silent on that issue... Even when it loads the photos from the USB drive, the first file on the drive is not necessarily the first one in line on the picture frame! I guess I am used to a file manager of some sort and this just doesn't do the trick that way... So, overall it has a great high res display and the photos look excellent, but the controls are lacking if you want to show a specific set or subset of photos or show them in a specific order. Very good for just turning it on and letting it go through your collections somewhat randomly.

Was a gift for my Grandmother! She loves the 8" model that I gave her but has to hold it close to see the photos. This one would be big enough that she wouldn't have to hold it... If it worked. I'm sending it back to get it replaced and hope the replacement works.

Purchased this for a gift for my parents and all the kids loaded it with pictures so it was ready to go. Great viewing from all angles, sharp and bright! So easy to add pictures, love the USB cable connection. Now I want one for myself!
