I was surprised this device did not include 2 batteries because i was under 'Obvious Impression' that 2 batteries would be included, especially price at $ I ending up purchasing 2 batteries on a separate transaction. Online description was needed to avoid confusion because i would not purchase it if I knew batteries were not included.

I like this design much better than the X-T2 grip. I'm not into video so I won't comment on that, but if you need more grip and battery power, it's a big help. Especially for portrait oriented shots, although, the X-H1 is easy to shoot in portrait mode. I wish the battery access mechanism was a bit more secure and not plastic, but I never had a problem with my X-T2 grip so maybe a non issue.

If you’re a wedding photographer or videographer this is a great addition to the Fuji X-H1. It gives you an even firmer grip and loads more battery life to an already great feeling camera. I highly recommend purchasing this as well.

During a recent trip to Europe I took many wonderful pictures with my new X-H1.No problems there, but an annoyance: I frequently had to change the battery, often in inconvenient situations. That's when I decided to purchase the battery grip. Problem solved! Of course it makes the camera bulkier and heftier, but it really helps, both for stills and for video.
